there is a french game called "werewolf". You need like 10 people to play it.
At teh beggining if the game each player tales a paper that contain the chracter he will play in the game: werewolf, hunters, peasant, the little girl, the witch, the lovers and some more.
So the objective of the game is for the werewolf to kill all other chracters and for the others to detect who is the werewolf.
the game is played in rounds, each one has a night and a day.
At night loghts are turn off and by turns some chracters awake and take some actions, first the werewolf go and kills somebody, the little girl can spy during the night, the with has the power to kill or return to life any charachter one time during the game...
when the night is over lights are turn on and its discovered who has been killed by the werewolf. then the police try to bring a case against some one and and everybody votes to hang the suspect. the game continues until nobody is left or the werewolf is killed.
It doesnt seem psychedelic but the whole character playing is a lot of fun and every body gets paranoid.
