Just looked through the first issue and is a bit dissapointed. I just feel its the same same as always. I really miss interesting "non typical psytrance" articles not having anything to do with drugs or weed and usual standard artist interviews. The Festival guide is the same as anywhere else (The most commercial festivals) and the labels and advertisers are the usual ones flooding the social networks.

In a few words. In my opinion it lack originality and creativity and I hope you will evolve more in that direction than ending up as a cliche.

I believe that we have to be patient. We have to wait for their ideas to evolve.           http://www.facebook.com/pages/Acid-Waves/210623772399578?fref=ts

I have not lost fait in the mag. Just telling how the first experience reading the mag was to me. Point is to stand out from the rest. I missed that.

Hi there. Thank you very much for your time to write your thoughts.

1. We have some talks with people to write the type of articles you're saying. I couldn't make everything happen from the first issue. I tried my best but we were out of time. that's why i have a call-out to the last page, to find better reading material.
2. Jeremy which wrote the article "beyond Indica and Sativa" studied at Harvard and he's a very well educated person. Other magazine(s) is out there 2 decades and they NEVER had something to read like this... Just advertisements for Bongs and Vaporizers... And for shops that selling Bongs and Vaporizers... Cannabis tho is something that we're very interest in and it's not just for having "high times"... We will have lots of medical articles about benefits of Cannabis.
3. At least we're trying to add content for reading and it's not 100% a paid magazine...
4. "usual standard artist" i don't get that bro. There's no paid interview at the magazine and the 3 artist interviews inside (Rinkadink, Lyctum, Sensogram, + artescape deco team) are selected personally by me and furthermore, i never remember i read an interview of this people anywhere. Specifically Carin from Artescape, she's making amazing decorations and NEVER some magazine put her down to speak.
5. We don't have "festival guide", it's just preview of two festivals and i don't think they're from the "most commercial festivals".. If you're speaking about the map, i made a campaign so festival organizers will send to add at the map (free), but more or less, this is the only festivals responded.. I can't chase them down (i don't have the time even if i wanted), nor know every festival on our planet
At bottom end, our plan is to evolve it and make a great magazine. I wish i could make it from the first issue but it wasn't possible.

Thank you very much bro. i Appreciate it.

Best Regards,
Panagiotis.

Congrats on the first issue!

I know what it takes to make a project like this. How much of your own personal time and dedication it takes. I used to do a punk\skate 'zine back in the early 80s and spent long nights typing up interviews and reviews (on a manual typewriter!), cutting and pasting my first issue together (literally cutting and pasting!) and know the joy of sending out the first issue of your baby
Here's to many more issues and tons of support, evolving this to be everything you dream it to be!
