My top 5 psychedelic movies:
1. Track29: about a guy addicted to trains, very weird and hallucinogetic. Director is LSD guru Nicolas Roeg who used to be the 'smoke compagnon' of David Bowie
2. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: great road movie that leads to nowhere and is a solid trip throughout.
3. 9 lives of Fritz the Cat: adult cartoon from 1973 about a horny, bong smoking cat that is too clever for this world. Great hallu-parts
4. Fight club: its all in the imagination. Very deep and strange.
5. Angel Heart; from the director that did PFs Dark side of the Moon; very trippy scenes although the atmosphere can be alienating... |

damn raver i shouldn't have told you about half-baked, now you stole it from me
i just can't understand how no one else mentioned it, it's one of the best movies ever made for potheads
also, there is saving grace (especially the scene with the grass fire ).
and well, all cartoons when you're smoked enough look like a big hallucination

Just saw Altered States. And saw it again...
I liked it. This is a very psychedelic movie, where psychedelia and reality meet theirselves.
It was worth to see it.

I think Fear and loath in las Vegas is one of the best movies....
Then I would consider Requiem for a Dream...
