Soul of Man, Elite Force (sHack), Meat Katie, Plump DJs, Christian J, Lee Coombs, Precision Cuts, Dylan Rhymes, Infusion, Madox, Will "PMT/Phalse Prophet" Brummer, EK, Stanton Warriors, Vigi & Nectarios are a few breakbeat artists, whose tunes are smashing dancefloors around the globe to tiny little molecules.

For those that enjoy psy breaks can also check out Timecode's "Broken" release... Very different from their usual style, but quite good http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/tcc/tcc1cd009.html

i didnt much like the Broken timecode comp, just not very dancefloor friendly, there are much better breaks tracks than those..some of the older 21-3 and blueroom did more danceable stuff.. and no, clown, break beats arent "supposed to be" slow and atmospheric....

and 14 year old etard named some nice artists, none of them are that psy influenced , although i believe nectarios used to be a member of this forum...

You'd be surprised to find out, how similar some tunes from Elite Force, Soul Of Man, the Plumps, Meat Katie, Phalse Prophet, Vigi & Nectarios are to the mid/late 90's Flying Rhino/Atomic/Blueroom/Spiral Trax/Dragonfly, psy-trance sound.

Anyway, chin stroking/moody breakbeats that you guys like to call "Psy-breaks" (hooray for pigeon holing...not!), clear the breakbeat dancefloors over here in the UK.
People that play out to big breaks parties don't like them, so they don't play them.
Maybe they're good for a small room in a psy-trance party, but a big "no-no" for a slamming breakbeat party, "OG" style

Nectarios used to be an active member of this forum (a good few moons back) and one half of "Unison" with Pan and has released trance tunes on Etnica and Harmonia records.
But his secret love for breakbeats has taken hold of his heart nowdays and has moved on from today's psy-trance sound.

He still posts under this username sometimes and expresses his undying love for some members of this spiritually, politically correct and flawless forum! lol

Peace out

you are right, shite that we pigeon-holed dont work, its more listening stuff than dancefloor stuff..i was just hoping that *cough* some talented people could make more dope ass slamming breakbeats choons that are soooper trippy too AND would work in the big breaks rooms.......with clean nice layered production and new sounds and stuff..yay!

ahhhhh... sometimes i wish i really was a teenaged etard, so i wouldnt be so picky bout the beats......then again maybe not..peace outtie!

Hey, ppl, happy to see all of you, who still remember 21:3!

It's a bit strange that nowadays the break trance is so rare, because in 98 it was so powerful and promising.

We decided to give you a fresh psybreak tunes in 2005, by releasing the new album of
Kadasarva - "The Overside of Infinity".

Just listen to these previews and you'll understand what it is about:

if any of you are looking for some fresh "psy-breaks", watch out for the upcoming Mood Deluxe album on Liquid Records... it's psychedelic, breaky and so much more; kind of like a gangster shpongle.

i'll be previewing it (and loads more) next tuesday (30th May) from 7.30pm (GMT) on www.psystream.net           I said no to drugs... but they didn't listen
