CALLING ALL ARTISTS! bring back the breakbeat sound, not just for chill, but for dancing! i LOVE breaks, and right now there is only the nuskool scene, which has good tunes, but most of it is not PSY enough...

new PSYBREAKS with BASS!!!!!!!!!!

we need more psybreaks, not the downtempo or DnB variety, but full on, uptempo 140bpm hard psychedelic breakbeats!! i like breaks more than trance these days, but most of it is not psychedelic enough..there is soooo much potential for a psybreaks movement!
check out artists like amb, introspective, deviant electronics, acid rockers, autobotz, breakfastaz.....i want to hear trippy, hard, and funky breaks! yeah!

i love psy trance and hate break beat and stuff like that but I must admit that the old album (around 96) of deviant electronic is a real masterpiece with 4 or 5 tracks that are successful union between goa sounds and breack beats.

Coming from somebody who loves both psytrance and breakbeat, Deviant Electronics was a genius with everything he released. I wish he would produce more.

exactly..meaning that you dont HATE breakbeats, you just havent heard anything good. hate would mean close mindedness, wouldnt it? that is why i am posting, so that maybe people will create more good tunes, so that it will get better!
i posted these links earlier on another thread..tracks i like...

clown, I found it surprisingly not upbeat enough! One can produce these slow breaks with psychedelic sounds and that's okay, but the great stuff that can be heard from Snake Thing, Germinating Seeds of Doda, Metal Spark and kin were really up and active party music fun for dancing and freaking out. I think that is the slice that is missing. Founded on breakbeats but fully psychedelic, with new structures... it would be great to hear that style creep up on the scene again. I only think a few artists really nailed it right - there's lots to explore still!

Think about it... what if Son Kite or Wizzy Noise tried upbeat breakbeat music?

i agree, most of these releases are slow, and not dancefloor oriented. luamuhappo has some nice breakish tracks, but are more like breaks segments, rather than entire breaks tracks. the Broken comp didnt quite catch a dancefloor vibe, the older psy harmonics/exogenic/demon tea records are also a bit slow and funny head music rather than full on adrenaline pumping dance tunes...faster..more like this?

well, i always thought that break beats were supose to be very atmospheric and slower paced than, say DnB. All depends what your looking for in the end.

I once got this pretty cool CD at a party, Dj Paul Reset.. It was a Nerve Records promo CD or something.. should be an interesting label to check out. Not sure how much is psy, but if you like breaks, should be cool..           "VA - REWIRED" OUT NOW !! (techtrance invasion) ---> http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/86303/forum/9
