EVP / REALITY GRID (live set) - wildthings records (UK)
E.V.P has been making psychedelic trance music since 1996,After a few years he Qualified as an RSA approved sound engineer, having studied mixing and mastering of rock music along with synthesis and sequencing using an SSL mixing console and also Macintosh with Logic. After that he has been applying these techniques / skills to produce a high quality finish to the music, also focusing on keeping the music comfortable to listen to at very high levels. The style he is producing is an individual, positive sound that has many twisted electronic sounds but still keeps a very groovy feel which always energizes the dance-floor. E.V.P has played a very wide range of parties over the last 8 years. Many international festivals, club events, squat parties and also has had similar success with his second project RealityGrid. He has played in over 35 countries world wide and already has a number of bookings into the middle of 2009. His latest album 'Holographic Consciousness' (WildCD008) has been received with very positive reviews and many bookings, he completed a number of international tour dates to promote the release, including Japan, italy, croatia and a number of dates in uk. E.V.P is also a psychedelic artist having produced album art, flyers, and most of the Wildthings promotional material. He has had much demand for tracks for different compilations, and with completion of the future release schedule in place, he will soon have released over 60 tracks across both projects.
REALITY GRID originally A collaboration between two UK artists EVP and Avalon, but now the solo project of E.V.P (Alex Diplock). He has been producing for around 10 years and holds RSA Sound engineering qualifications, has released 3 albums and toured in over 30 countries, playing live and Dj-ing.This brighton based project 1st album was a great success, setting a fat, groovy and very psychedelic sound, which reflected a very high end production quality, they quickly stepped into the international festival circuit with ease, their first festival gig being on the main stage at 2am on the closing night at the Soulclipse festival 2006. Since Avalon moved to Nano to produce his album, Alex wanted to continue the style of sound created in their first album, but take it further in terms of production and energy level. So after upgrading the studio and then completing his 2nd E.V.P album he decided to start work on the new RealityGrid Album, now as a solo project, which is now 90% complete.Material will be tested and previewed at the Archaic Album launch party on Nov 1st somewhere in London! After taking a break from any bookings, RealityGrid will again very shortly be available for bookings into the coming year!
EARTHLING (dj set) - neurobiotic records (ibiza/spain)
Earthling is the solo project of Dj Celli. Celli was born on the island of Ibiza in 1977. In the early 90's, he began going to Full Moon parties and clubs on the island, which influenced him greatly, Since the island has always had a healthy music, and party scene. In1992, he began working with an organization in Ibiza called Art Party, and learned the art of party organizing. When the first Psychedelic Trance arrived on the island, Celli fell in love with the music, and he, and a group of friends began organizing their own parties, specializing in Psychedelic trance. These parties were very successful, and helped to kick off the psytrance scene in Ibiza, which is still very popular today. It was at one of these parties that he played his first dj set. In the year 1998, after six years of making parties, and djing on the island, Celli bought his first studio equipment, and began creating his own music, shortly afterwards he formed his solo project� Earthling, releasing his first tracks "Just Say Yes" on T.I.P. records, "Dusty Hoffmans" on Neurobiotic records, and his debut album "Patterns" on Acidance records in 2001, which gave him global recognition, and launched his career as an international Dj and performer. Shortly afterward, with his friends Riktam and Bansi of legendary Psytrance group GMS, he formed a new group called Soundaholix . together, they have produced dozens of hits such as Psychedelic Circus, Technofari, and The Moon, and will release their debut album "Soundaholix Anonymous" in December 2008. In 2003 He formed another group called Vatos Locos, with Trance pioneer Nick Doof, and Mexican Dj Xavier Fux. They have two albums together. Welcome 2 da Barrio, and Attack and Release. Their first album �welcome 2 da Barrio� , was released on Sony Music, Dance Division, and went on to achieve huge success all over south America, with their music videos being shown on MTV and Telehit. Celli also produces Minimal Techno under the name Monoxcide, and Chill out, under the name Earthling , with his tracks appearing on many Ibiza-based compilations over the years, and has a chillout/Dub based project with Nick Doof called 3rd Ear Audio. Earthling's highly anticipated second album "Hypernature" will be released on Neurobiotic records in december 2008, and promises to be a contemporary defintion of his sound: a unique blend of deep, psychedelic soundscapes and organic rhythms
