Psy-trance clubs in New Castle

Hey ppl,
Well i'm here in the UK for studies but really miss psy-trance music and their parties. Can any help me in locating Psy-trance clubs in Newcastle area.

your best bet is to travel a bit, the nights up north i know are mostly student run:
-newcastle has shunyata, but you can check for other nights at the students union (all welcome i think) and theres a few others too (there will be flyers about eg at record shops)
however
-edinburgh has the well established indigitous (www.indigitous.net) during uni term time
- manchester has a few things but regularly sunrise @ the music box (uni term time)
-leeds has crystal yamataka (uni term time)
but you'll find most of the bigger nights mentioned on here or http://www.psy-forum.co.uk
there are smaller out door parties too, but i dont live up north any more so dont knw whas going on! |

Friday 13th August, Kulu Vs Stereo Chemistry it's about 100 miles away from Newcastle but it will be a good proper psychedelic party in the north of England. |

Welcome mate. I'm from Newcastle and there ain't a great deal going on. Yeah there is Shunyata occasionally and my mates do a night called Psybernetix which is on some Fridays at the Egypt Cottage, but it's only open til 12. I'll let ya know of anything going on. Fil.
Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day.

Well that ain't far! Oh yeah, I forgot to say that after the Egypt Cottage{upstairs} there's virtually guaranteed an after-party at my mate's lock-up/practice rooms down the road for the rest of Sunday morning so you still don't need to go home early! It's not on every week but I'll try to let ya know about it if I find out. I'm more usually on Psy-forum though. Hugz n drugz, Fil.

Nice one.. I am moving up to newcastle this september too and was looking for some psy parties too..
I can tell you though that if you are willing to travel down to leeds, on the last saturday of every month there is Cabbage. Well worth going to!

Welcome to another psy-head in "The Toon"! Yeah, been to Cabbage a fair few times, also Kulu, Sunrise, Alien Resonance. Any northern parties is good for me! Going down to Kulu/Stereo Chemistry bash on Friday. |
