When I was about 16 years old, I discovered a few musical groups that changed the type of music I listened to, forever. Or so I thought. I listened to Astral Projection, MFG, X Dream and Infected Mushroom mainly at first. As the years went on and more and more psy trance cAMe out, and a few south florida events passed in a few which i DJd, i grew further from psychedelic trance and so did the level of party favors I put into my system. Does anyone on the board think drug use plays a role in this style of dance music? I know psychedelic trance has played a role in my music career, but now it almost seems annoying. Repetative sounds with no melodies and artificially arpegiated riffs. This is what psy started to sound to me.
Now this track isnt exactly Psy, but it for some reason re awoken the beast.

I played this song and immediately started dancing again. So my question is, does your love for psytrance go along with your love for drugs, or is it just in you?

I have absolutely no love for any kind of drugs whatsoever, so I guess the magic is just in me...
