Hi!It is about time some well organised parties happened in Athens.At first,parties where well organised.But as time passed,parties started becoming worse and worse.Only this Christmas,two parties where shut down.Also,the venues should become more underground.Night clubs are not the ideal place for psy parties.Then,more time sould be spent on visuals and decoration of the parties.AND DONT YOU THINK ITS ABOUT TIME FOR A GOOD CHILL OUT!!I think Thessaloniki has a good development and so should athens.

My friend I think that many people in this forum agree with a lot of what you say as I also do. But I don't expect any dramatic changes just hope for the better as always.

U Matic closed down,Kalua closed down,Studio 54 closed down and even DRAGOSTE (one of the most underground club in Athens) closed down...
Oh and all this in just the last month....

I know that probably all of you agree with me,but I am bored of just waiting for things to get better.Its time something is done.As for you my friend detox,I dont believe that this kind of club can support all major events.Some squats should start happening and also outdoor events.Remember the Anavyssos festival some years ago...It was GREAT!!!!!The thing I wanted to focus on is that all of us that love this culture should start helping,as much as we can and not just sit and wait for things to change.. |

Williamsk i mentioned these clubs not to show that clubs that support major events are closing down BUT to show that the new government wants to finish the WHOLE DANCE SCENE for some reasons.
Seems they prefer bouzoukia music or something...

I think is not work of the last one goverment only.
both of them last 2 years want to kill our scene.
I dont know realy the deepest reasons but its happen.
the question is hwo gonna stop it.
what will happen next.
Today is Athens just because is the capital.
Tommorow will be Salonici and then...

maybe I'm wrong ,maybe I'm right I dont know but I believe that in the eyes of the authority the psytrance r as dangerous as the satanists or the hooligans.this massive is a threat to what the ethics that this "modern"society stands for.just look it from the eyes of the cop who busted in a club around 6.00 or through the eyes of mana-raver.psytrance in order to stop from being "dangerous" it has:

i think it was pasok when nr6 was invaded and it was pasok when Mamba festival in Halkidiki was shut down and i think that it was 20 years of pasok that the psy scene has suffered so much....except if you are talking about governments in general... |
