oh yeah ?

pls send an sms to the narcs dept and cops bout this issue
and hope your problems get solved.

maybe they can sponsor some artists to earn some goodwill.

psy wasnt ever an indian thing, i dont think it will ever be....freedom here is just a ' F' word.

and y only bout psy , even house electro lovers cant party beyond 1.30 am

so i think u should change the topic to 'partying in indian clubs n disco sucks big time.

may the force be with the indian party animal.

So guys,
everyone wants the same, a nice outdoor party/festival, far away from everything. Get back to the roots.
I can't. I haven't got the contacts, I don't know where to find CD-players, amplifiers, deco,...
I'm in India right now, and I'll be here for a while (May).
If anyone is prepared to take his responsability instead of spamming this forum, than go ahead.
Let me know: when, where,...
Contact some nice dj's and live-acts, ask them to do it for free (they will, since everyone apparantly wants the old scene back alive again).

So tell me, who is willing to do this.
I'd be glad to help, a lot of people would. I'd even spin some beats, I'd stay up 40h, because people get thirsty...
We have to get the scene back on track.
How come it is so impossible to do a party here in India.
I'm from Belgium, one of the smallest countries in the world, but we have got at least 3 parties every week. It's not that the cops want to put us down too. We just go ahead. They can't touch us.
India needs the same. Maybe, if one goes in front, the rest will follow.
Let's hope it will be like that.
Let's hope we will find the guy/girl.

The U in PLUR shouldn't be longer Utopia, but Unity again...

india is a mummy daddy country and it has a sense of rural ness that cannot be described.......... anyway i guess the new generation will have more balls when they reach the golden age of 25-30 yrs....usually the age required to organize gigs....now if 50 year old big daddy's liked psy ...no one could bust parties.... but then again u see these cops who busts parties are also mummy daddy ....and its a chaos....

instead of people supporting gigs like moondust and cheering them on look what the indians did..... indians are a jealous lot !!!!!

I understand your enthusiasm but things don't work this way in India. Try acting smart with the authority and they will cage you. Don't even try it. Whoever you are, or your parents are. Especially considering you are a foreign national

As for now things need to remain small and low-key. Only gatherings with the real freaks, who show up for the music. Nothing more, nothing less. Its only a waiting game now. Everyone should make most of SJ 08. Its a great opportunity for anyone in the country right now.

Enjoy!

Peace

ps - They don't take Belgian chocolate as bribes either. However, HP Printer Ink and some chicken rolls have worked in the past hehe.

That is REALLY, hideously, unbelievably, deeply sad. (Banning live music and KARAOKE will make the city safer? Really? Gives lyrics like killing me softly with his song a whole new, deeper meaning.)

It will strip Bangalore of its spirit. And SEE, folks? See how things could be worse than not being able to party to psy till 6am etc? I say count your blessings.

some images to speak for the indoor concept...

the sounds were buffered down to prevent insanity... 50 - 145 bpm. lots of progressive styles ranging from twisted krumelur to the melodic electrypnose mixed in with indoor sounds like minimal techno, dub and breaks... and all wrapped up by 1:30am.

just takes a little bit of reasonable foresight. this is how it is done outside India to keep music moving, no reason why we can't do it here.

deeplydisturbedbabu ... ki bolche !!?! cripple ? mightly harsh point of view there. care to explain ?

kemon bolche na dada hahah good one but compare this to smoky flames@bangy town or unpredictable weather on roof tops close to where i am now delhi and indoors becomes a weird compromise ....outdoors n underground ...like mussoriee ...sweet ....           Being, a bundle of minute, unique particulars in which, by some unspeakable and yet self-evident paradox, was to be seen the divine source of all existence.

this is what it CAN be ...

This the UK btw... where the indoor concept totally pushed and exploded the boundaries of art and sound.

just depends on what you want. imo ...most indian psykids are looking to get messed up... and the demand that it should be 'outdoors' gives them the freedom to do so and the fantasy that they're hippy goa babas or something of the sort. can say this confidently because this was the vibe I was inducted into when I began the search post Goa. Bless the stars that I escaped.

anyway ... this is a depressing thread. goodbye.
