May I remind people to be careful about getting their car stuck in the sand, last time I was in that area my friends car got stuck in some deep sand. In addition, please remeber NO CAMPFIRES. Campfires are bad for the enviroment, and they will cause the firedepartment to show up, because they will think a forest fire is starting. |

IMHO, i think people get stuck because most new yorkers (and city dwellers in general) do not have much experience driving off road.
back on topic: the recent rainfall has packed the dirt in a little more than usual, so it shouldn't be much of an issue this time around.
just be careful, take it slow, put your car in low gear, and if you do get stuck, DO NOT SPIN THE WHEELS!!!

I might have some extra stuff and dont have much space in small car (planning to set up free juice bar and carring couple of hukkas and other stuff).
