I know that there is already a thread concerning summer festivals in Greece but i guess its about time to have different threads for each festival so that people will get as much info as possible about the festivals so that they can compare and decide where they desire to go.As time approaches we should be more serious and inform everyone about the festivals and especially our foreigner friends who might like to visit our country.
Psava Faam Summer Festival.
This festival will take place at Paranesti village at the city of Drama on the 12,13 and 14 of July.Drama is located 150km away from Thessaloniki (2hr drive) and 670km away from Athens (7hr drive).For our foreigner friends i am glad to inform you that you can access Drama using the local Kavala airport,the Macedonia airport (Thessaloniki) or the Eleytherios Venizelos airport (Athens).
You can also check your local bus and train scheudles for the city of Thessaloniki.
The prices for the festival are 60 euro from 22nd of April until the 1st of June,70 euro from 2nd of June till the 3rd of July and 80 euro on the entrance of the festival.

hugh ... i am just wondering , how Djs like Yemo and Balthazar who both are well known as may be the best Techno Djs in Bulgaria , show up in the Psava line up ?
it will be good experience if i come , but the entrance fee is too high for me  |

clox my friend contact the guys and tell them that you live in the Eastern Europe,they might have some special prices from folks from around there since the money rates are very very different

IMO there are too many tech-trance groups ! Of course the Ozric band and Hux Flux will be there to create magical(ozricT) & paranoic (Huxflux) psychedelia, but the rest is full hard techno.. Anyway IS going to be surely a great party ! a MUST for tech-trance lovers ! A Nice experience for the rest! |

Well everyone claims that there couldnt be a worst festival than this one.
Many artists were canceled at the last moment like Ozric Tentacles,the place there sucks and even one stage was canceled.
Well these organisers suck big time and they make a bad name for the rest of the festivals.

Asi there were no more than 800 people there from what many friends told me.One of them even claimed that there are no more than 600 people.The sound was very average they also told me.One stage had very bad 'dancefloor' also and no one could dance.
Kosmos when you are organizing a big festival and you announce some bookings in order to get people at your festival then since these people are paying to hear these artists you must respect their money and have tied these artists with a contract so that you will have them here at your festival.
SO when you are a bad organiser and you dont respect the people that pay their tickets and all those that come from other countries to have a good time and you announce at the very last moment that some artists are canceled then sorry but in my opinion you suck big time and you must return all the ticket money back and dig a hole afterwards and put yourself in it.
Thats my opinion.

Oh and i forgot to mention that bad festivals like this one are doing a big harm on the rest of this years festivals and i doubt whether foreign people that visited this years psava faam will ever visit another Greek festival.
Some people are making a bad name for all of us and thats not just right.
