My compliments too !!
Favorite track is hard to mention : maybe "avalon" or "more directions" ...i just wonder why no track goes faster than 142 bpm.
But again : very nice & melodic album !

after having listened to this album for more than 20 times so far, i could do nothing else but comment on this thread that (IMO) this album is one of the highlights of 2003. this year started with a great "morning" album from silicon sound, but appears that it will end with a much greater one from protoculture this time... nice one!!!   |

 Big thumbs up for Protoculture!!This album is next to Cosma "Nonstop" the best I've heard this year.

 great album..high production..to me protoculture has an unique style..clean melodies great bass and rythms..my favourits are peekaboo,avalon,more directions.great vibe on it:)

Beautiful Track!
Make me calm down and have a good mood for listening this great album!
2. Silicon Sunrise
Kickin' Bass Tone!! "New Technology!!"!!
What A nice uplifting music !!
3. Magnetik
This my fovorite one!! Fat Bass, mellow ambient sound, colorful synth pattern, and the killer clean tone guitar! everything is so sentimental(I don't know if this word "sentimental" is suitable.)
4. Refractions
Next come to a deep , dark intro. Uplifting gradually, and after 2"00 everything become bright!!
6. More Direction
Well known track!!! Moring Killer!!!
7. Avalon
Another Great Production!!
The vox make everybody have a smile dancing.
9. Melody Machine
A really melody killer track....!!!!!
1,2(!!!),3(!!!!!),4(!!!),7(!!!),9(!!)
Great Album!!!
and Full of emotion!!! really touch me!!!
Protoculture is Amazing!!
High quality production!!

Protoculture is 1 of my favorite artists these
days.
Yea he has few "problematic" tracks (house)
for us the psychdelic mad pepole, but most
of his melodys tracks r exctly my taste (avalon rmx, new directions and more).

yeah this guy is truly amazin! the melodies are just way beyond any artists these days and each track is totally made in clean production.
heard he played at the Glastonbury, anybody see him play?
would be nice to see his live this summer under the morning sun |

A superb release by Nano Records indeed.
Protoculture is for sure the hottest name of South Africa in our days and one of the rising stars of the scene.
The production is very good and the sounds loud and clear.The atmospheres in the whole album are just amazing.
One of the best morning full on releases of the year 2003,highly recommended to everyone out there.
There are no bad tunes in this cd.My favorites are 1(!),2,3,6,7(!!),8 and 9(!!!)
Overall Rating 9/10

i dont realy call it full on, since the point of the music here is not to be as killer as its can gets but to be nice vibey psy trance.
