Progressive in Barcelona?

Just wondering when the progressive scene will develop in Barna. After going to a couple of "psy" parties I've got tired as the same music is being played on and on. A change wouldn't be bad?
I reckon the parties will get good attendances if acts like D-Nox are playing because the music is more accessible.
What do people from barna think? |

Hello!
I agree woth you, me tto I love progressive music and we don't have lot of oportunities to hear this kind of music in Barcelona. as Hoffman said, next 27th it will be a very nice progressive session in Sabadell, this city is very close to Barcelona and Suggar is 10 minuts walk from train station, so it's not so hard to get Sabadell!!!
You'll have the oportunity to hear nice progressive next Sindar Party on the 17th of Feb at the beginning of the party from 00h to 2h more or less there will be a set from Dj Chik'm before the sets of Arnauh,Syrck and Dark Soho.

Mate Sabadell is a 40 minutes ride from Pza. Catalunya if you take ''Els ferrocarrils''

More info about train:
suggar is nearest of the RENFE train station SABADELL SUD. Just 10 minuts walk from the station to the party (it's in the same street) adn there is 35 min from plaza catalunya!
If you want progressive, just take a train!

Hey!
For you "big artists" means big music?
I don't know what is a "big artist", would you mean "popular artists", "comercial artists"?¿?
For me, to hear good progressive I don't need to wait for a "big artist" to come to Barcelona, hopefully we have some Dj who mix very beautifull and nice progressive...as I said before, today in Sabadell, in Cotton Sugar Club, there will be a very good session of progressive with any "big artist",but with lot of big and good vibes and good music.

But...unfortunatlly, i think that "we" don't have so much luck....here the Full-on is the king...and the mayority of the ppl are so use to listen trance on 148/150BPM, that lower than that and they sleep...and call it Chill-out...jejejej
Well, maybe some avant-garde party promotor can invite some progry artist's...but i don't see it very possible...coz the mayority win's...
Follow Marta's advice and pick the "ocasional beggining of the party DJ that plays Progressive"...on the next Sindar party is Chik'M...nice progry groovy tunes...
