Progressive festival in Portugal

A question for all involved with the Portuguese scene:

I would like to go to a festival in Portugal this summer, but these days I am more interested in the groovy progressive side of things than the hectic full-on sound (with some exceptions, of course).

Is there a festival that concentrates more on progressive music? If so, where and when?

What do you mean by this?

The updown was a 11 days event with 250 darkpsy artists, from promoters with History on not getting sucsessfull parties.

This is a 2 day event with 15 artists mostly progressive, from wellknown and respected promoters.

So where do you see the resemblance?

Or is that just a secret wish of yours?

If it is, shame on you..

it isn't true!!at updown fesy it were 95% full on artistsnonly one or two artists were from wha spasm called as darkpsy...and for who like space gnome got doubts this union fest doesn't have any similarity with the 11 days of up down...up down fest made the foreign ppl come to our country with some bad ideas.so,good luck for this fest and for whom who wants to coe they will be welcomed...           "Dance like nobody's watching; love like you've never been hurt. Thanx for the accurate statistics, to me its all preety much the same (indeed), I just called it darkpsy beacause i was being generouse.
Full-on is a trance genre totally exploited, not original AT ALL, and completly overdone, thanx.
On the other hand Darkpsy is something new.

this is a joke right?

ALL foreign people that specially came to this event, went back 2 or 3 days after it started, it was a tottal ripoff for any foreigner that paid airplain tickets and made festival plans.
Who are you trying to fool?
My opinion is they would be better of, at their own coutries.

I heard that the hotels, pensions, and residences got a really good profit in the area of Viseu
At least we know that money went to taxes

So, from another point of view, WE WANT MORE UPDOWN FESTS!

I think you should change the title of this post ...

This is an hybrid festival Progressive/Psy/Full On...

Suria,Menog,Dino Psaras,Dimitri are not progressive .....

See you all there its, going to be nice...

Another question :is the line up closed ??

Is too much to ask to bring Vibrasphere ??

Yes... that was kind of the point of my original post. I was wondering if there was a festival with *just* progressive. I've been to some excellent progressive parties here in Lisbon (Open Up, Flow...) and I wanted to know if there was a festival with this sort of thing happening.

And anyway, I can't make it to the Union Festival. Got to go back to England for a couple of weeks... :-(
