the problem is that you can try any synth but if you alter the tonal balance with eq in a unatural way it will be always the same, it will sound processed and not natural

i think it s more in your equing/processing that you need to work to get more natural sound . maybe you do it already but a/b to reference tunes can really help.

i listened side effects - one mans vision and really the bass sound nothing special you can do this with almost any popular plug like massive or sylenth maybe zebra. (the kick is often overlooked but it s maybe what matter the most )for the bass it s really on the fine tuning of the synth and eq to me.

what make it the most difficult is monitoring environement ,if you can compare your work in different places, different speakers, headphone

true, the kick is more important in the low freqs I'd say, the more I analyzed these basses the more I got that they aren't that fat and wide as I percieved them before, with the bass it's more about the pluck and some lowend but the kick will provide more lowend power than the bass, correct me if I'm wrong guys           https://soundcloud.com/noordzee-laborant

In my world, the kick should have more low-end level than the bass, yes.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

When you have a well made kick&bass, you will not need much EQ on the bass. Maybe 1-2 dB tops. Any more than that and the bass starts to sound, as PoM said, unnatural.

I highly recommend Image-line synths (sytrus or harmor) for making a kick, they are IMO the best out there for kick. You can shape the whole dynamics and pitch bend perfectly. No need for eq or comp.

Colin:

why do i think i cant go as low with the bass as in some other cases? in some trax the bass sounds in a so low octave, but my synths seem to loose tension if i go so low. do they make it with audio?

There's other solutions that do just about the same:

http://www.brainworx-music.de/en/plugins/bx_solo

http://www.voxengo.com/product/msed/

these two are free. it allows you to separate mid and side information. thing is: you still need to duplicate the mid and side signals (solo them) and process them separately.

http://www.brainworx-music.de/en/plugins/bx_control_v2

this one isn't free, but has the mono maker which I think is what you're after, right? They're sort of specialized in mid and side processing - it's in all their tools. But you can get away with Ozone if you have it. Plenty of ways to skin a cat.
