Axis, this is a great initiative.
Im also starting a distribution company which will be some what like Arabesque but catering to India and Middle East. I am in India now and did some research regarding the same and many complained that the CD's they ordered from psyshop never ended up reaching them cuz they were lost in post. Also, it was expensive paying for shipment costs. Starting the distribution company based in India will enable bridge this gap and the cost of shipment will be less. Thus, encouraging more people to buy CD's / Latest releases. Hoping that with the ease of access to CD's locally, they would try and cut down on pirated downloads....

I am looking for a professional option myself but there are none so far.

I can confirm that this is happening In another month or so I will get all formalities sorted out and things should be up and running in full swing within 2-3 months max....
It will be a legal, licensed distribution company named Samana Distribution which will have both online and retail outlet distribution for India and Middle East.
Style catered to would be not just psytrance but all electronic music.
The support I would need from fellow countrymen and women would obviously be spreading the word to electronic labels they know of worldwide and friends / consumers in general.....
Hope this venture is embraced with open mind and heart to try and minimize on pirated downloads and to support a good cause for electronica in general.... instead of trying and putting people that want to do such a thing, down OR discouraging and spreading negative vibes regarding the distribution company or the person who started it Cuz i know there are MANY that are good in bringing people down and demotivating them instead of helping the cause.....
