I was prompted for a response on this -
when you're writing tunes you are often thinking about blasting the listener and making them experience what you want them to experience, but other times it's just me dancing around my studio getting high on the sounds and the groove. Depends who I am with - when writing in Voice of Cod we throw in what we think will work on the dancefloor of course but sometimes the ideas come from a particular theme or inspiration which we stay true to - like in Just a Ride the idea was just that, that life is just a ride and that theres no need to get too hung up on it....

bro i feel that if a trk is made n we r able to relate to it in a very realistic manner then definately the artist is also in the same trip as maybe we r....
imagine this...
while makin a trk , there might be so many thghts comin in the artists mind ,maybe in the form of messages or clippngs (video),or nething

Walk - Pantera.. omfg! what a track!
when I heard for the first time.. the song kicked the shit out of me.. I was like this is it! it was a moment pf truth, the song sent the emotions out of me the way I wouldve wanted it out.
I think its all related from individual to individual, from life to life depending on a certain mood, and situation. Most music is made to sell, hence is made as good as possible.. but it is how it hits the end listener that makes the difference to me and you.

agreed to a degree!
but art (wen it comes from the heart) is not made to sell
it's a an expression if i can say so of ur emotions and gud artists know how to prick ur emotions out & that's how they become gr8 artists (fuck i jus got my ans.)

Interesting discussion guys, i've had similar thoughts and questions about this before....and i was hoping someone wud mention subliminal music/messages.
For those that dont have a clue: A subliminal message is a signal or message embedded in another object, designed to pass below the normal limits of perception. These messages are indiscernible to the conscious mind, but are alleged to be perceptible to the subconscious or deeper mind.
I've found alot of such 'subliminal music' online and their artists claim to have encoded positive messages in them perceived only by our subconcious mind, leaving the listener feeling euphoric, happy, confident or whatever depending on the subliminal message.
I dont understand how this works OR if it really does in the first place, but when u think of psy and how one track can leave 300 people feeling pure love or happiness or woteva.....it makes me wonder.....is psy trance a form of subliminal music? Some of you guys here have said that you'll try to prick out particular emotions from your listeners...isnt that exactly what they say subliminal music is? What about the guys that dont try this intensionally but still manage to prick out an emotion...do these tracks have subliminal messages accidentally encoded in them that even its creator is unaware of? All of this just makes me wonder...........

It is the cosmic powers that decides a tracks effect and intension here and there when a listener is tuning in to a track.
An artist is a ,,only” a tool, a messenger for the cosmic energies to deliver it's message, meaning and intension.
