I read a lot about high prices on parties in Isreal , so I opened this thread for ask you people : what you think is fair prices for the bar ( water , alcohol and more...) ?
Maybe some orgnazier will read this thread and do something on this problem , because we all know the bad money situation in Isreal... |

I think water should be always for free, or at least very cheap.
And i think beer is a kind of water

I never buy alcohol from the bar cause I dont drink at all, hehehe  YUUGGG!! 
At our outdoor parties they keep a huge water tank just a little bit away from the dance floor for anyone to use. If you want cold water though, that is when you buy it from the bar. They sell juice and all types of beverages at quite a price. Most of the people bring their own stuff in a cooler box and keep it on them. Saves you money and time. We even take our own water as well

Everything is correct, but think about party orgenayzers......
How they will get the money they payed for this party???
for sure sometimes its from the entery money, but might be a situation that not many ppl arrived, so at least they can make the money from the bar so they can make another partys

Tap water should be free. Always.
Cold bottled water should be €1 or €2.
Beer shoud be €2 - and not for those little pussy 0.3 liter bottles, but for a REAL 0.5 liter beer.
I don't care how much they charge for liquor - I bring my own flask.

free tap water is nice, but not all places allow it (this isn't always the organisers choice!)
1.2-1.5 euro for softdrinks and beers (25cl)
3 euro for power drinks (red bull)
4 for wodka orange and other alike combo's
5 for wodka redbull
eLeC3 (igal_m): as an organiser i NEVER count on money from the bar to cover expenses. all expenses have to be payed with the entrance price (in belgium people are allowed to bring their own drinks into 90% of the parties)
if you can't afford the drinks, organise your own cheaper parties. but don't complain to the organiser.

if in belgium you can bring your own drinks so good for you.

water should most definitely be free....cmon next, the party might be in a vaccum with charge for Air tanks....
water is God's creation & no1 has any right to charge for it.... imho
the rest is left to the organizers, i don't care...if i can afford it ill buy |

At the civilisated (west)-europe we are used to bring what we want to a party
And btw i love to make party and picnic at the same time and place. We are talking mostly about outdoor events, but it is also nice to sit anywhere in the city, danced all night and see the rising of the sun with some hot black tea in a urban environment
I normally go not to parties where i can not take my drink with in the location. These parties normally big heap of shit when they start nerving at the entrance.

But nothing is better than a nice refreshing cool drink!
We usually buy ice as well and keep the water cold that way. I personally hardly drink water at a party, gets a bit heavy on the stomach. Just little sips here and there. I don't even get that thirsty as well. Get the munchies though, hehehe
Fresh juice is also nice and energizing for those hot morning sets
