Thank you TOUCH Samadhi for an awesome weekend! Very cool to hear the west coast artists. Bodhi has some wicked stuff, very intelligent and trancey, need to get his new album. Random had a great sound for the morning, chunky and groovin, not too many dropouts and breaks. Really had a blast stompin round the mountains. Cant wait for the next one. For those on tribe.net I put a giant review of my Asheville experience in my blog there (too long for here I think).

what can i say...
a monstrous outpouring of gratitude towards all who came to help and connect with us here!

i am still a bit out of sorts after not sleeping nearly enough over the weekend, just too much to do and see and lots of dancing to do.
incredible sets and sounds played by everyone... all elements came together to create a magical wonderland ! amazingly on point mainstage sets i heard were from random, bodhisattva 13:20, witchdokta, paradigm, baba bastard babar, arjuna (i danced by myself at the gate for this one 8( ), binary, solomoon, icycoil, jj, brainlizzard, sot and derby, lou rawls paramnesia! yall had me monkey dancing for sure. heheh bodhi i was tryin to breakdance or something like that.

wish i could have heard more or even go up to the chillout more often... great times had up there with pedro and matyas, and some super chill stuff being played whenever i napped thanks everyone!
great deco created by PSI family for the chillout, thank you!
and as usual the vision ov devotee was on point!
i lost my keys, a precious crystal, and 120$ cash over the course of the weekend, and you know what? i found them all!!!! blessings!
im so happy that everyone got a chance to meet more of each other and connect more and dance (well maybe not all of you). i was a bit perplexed at the sparseness of the dancefloor through most of the event, but i realize most people simply dont get to nature enough and its hard to stop chilling at camp and watching the apples fall, or sleeping without massive electromagnetic waves zooming your brain. glad to see it blow up sunday morning though... i was getting worried there for a minute!

we are learning as we go and for sure this one was chock full of opportunities for improvement, but overall i was content with how it ran... sure, some refinements necessary.... check back with us next year for a new and improved experience.

again utmost gratitude to everyone who traveled far and wide to come join us in our neck of the woods for a weekend of cosmic sounds and time/space adventures.

by the way, deerfields loves us and the people who come to our events, we are very much invited back. thanks to everyone for helping clean up, respecting the land and behaving yourselves

im heading back to deerfields now to go do the final run-through and maybe a swim to bookend the event considering i started off last wednesday out on the lake by myself also.... how appropriate.
see you again soon i hope

My Powwow experience was incredible overall. I too was wondering about the lack of energy on the dancefloor for much of the party. Some would say that doesn't matter cuz it's just you and the music when you're getting down but I find it hard to go 100% crazy if there aren't other people goin' nuts around me, unless the music is the exact subgenre of a subgenre that I like the most. (thanks witchdokta!)

Fortunately when I started lamenting my friend was quick to put things in perspective by pointing out that I was still more or less in paradise. The nature and the people made for a beautiful vibe, most of my favorite moments from the weekend involved sitting on the platform in the middle of the lake, talking with friends and strangers and listening to chill. (thanks especially to pedro and matyas and blue spectral monkey for the dubby sounds!) And of course Sunday morning was just great!

peace,
Pete

i had a great time. it was wonderful meeting people from all the different tribes across the US. thanks of course to the TS crew for bringing it all together. i'll try and organize all my disparate thoughts into a semi-coherent review.

big boom to all

Thanks to the TS crew. I had a wonderful time as well, and echo the sentiment, of everyone else.

Deerfields is a beautiful magical place, and to be able to spend a weekend in eden, music or no music is worth the trip.

I enjoyed much of the music i caught over the weekend, unfortunatley though i missed many of the people i had hoped to catch and meet.
I was working through some personal stuff over the weekend, so also was not as social as i had hoped.
Apologies if i might have been short with anyone.
of the sets i did catch, Moksa, Sot, Derby, Coral, Monkey were my favorites, and of course my west coast brothers as well, who all represented very well.
I cant wait untill next time, Asheville is always a good time, with a warm family vibe

and yes Rosetta's rocks, we need more food like that at events out west

nice job touch samadhi, that place is so amazing so many cool places to check out,

thought it was kinda strange to see the dance floor so empty though? maybe everyone was tired from the trip down?
anyway bodhi got the place moving, i cant say enough about his set, it really put a spark to everyone. i hope some of those tracks are on his new cd cause im going to have to pick that up,
random had some nice solid grooves, i felt they were a little more geared for the night time but was still nice early in the morning.

it was very nice to catch the west coast vibe,

would like to see some more progressive tunes next time (i may be alone on this though)

take care and thanks again KRI

I can't say enough about Bodhi either. There was NO way I could not dance to his set. I was tired , worn out before his set and I HAD to dance to it. Was possessed by trance for sure during it.

the thing that made this festival special i think was the air of equality and community...not individual artists or dj worship...everybody was on an even plane: dancers, djs, visual artists, vendors etc etc... my one gripe was the lack of dancefloor participation - kind of a recurring problem at outdoors in america i've been to...w/ all the natural distractions at deerfields i guess i can see why...thanks TOUCHSamadhi, it was a beautiful effort in bringing together the american trance community
