Hum.. First, too many less-than-standard partys.. Everybody tought they could throw up partys just like that, for a while.. But I think this trend is slowing down now..
Second, people started being treated as money givers instead of party comers.. If u know what I mean..
Third, psy was somehow like a fashion for a while.. Lots of outsiders just coming to partys cause it was cool, I guess..
And the spirit got lost in between all this and other stuff.. sadly.. Personally I kind of lost that fever I once had to go and party. |

In my opinion there's no big problem with the trance scene today, i think its kind of going in a development fase,there are new party promoters (good party promoters) and new editors....about what biovrelle sayd i dont think its true, because portugueses as a lot of dark and hardcore sound, menog, khopat, tryambaka, and if your talking about suria, paranormal attack, audialize, well i guess its just your problem,suria is getting played by very good and important djs in israel, paranormal attack in the chemical crew is kind of an island in the middle of isralians, if you check it out, its allmost and isralians only records....about the partys,its good that it is envolving,do you think that more people means its getting commercial?In the whole world you can see partys just FULL of people, and all kinds of people...so here its the same.The so called "gandinos" and "betos" have right to go to partys to if they like..The only problem i see in partys is the excessive use of drugs, 99% of ppl smoke hashish, 50% on acid 50% on xtc, that's no problem if they like it, but they have to remeber to, that gives a very bad image about partys,Iv smoked hashish and weed for a few years,now i just smoke once in a while, and also iv taken pills and stuff, so i understand them, but, you have to agree with me, allmost since psytrance appeared its all about take drugs and dance for 24 hours, is that the spirit we need?.And its not fashion to its just very good music, pleasent to hear,i guess that's the psytrance term means, all people get along with nice sounds and no worrys.

New promoters? Fresh & good promoters? The only recent big one I can remember is Spectral rec..
And dont assume he (biovrelle) was talking about Suria or Audialize or whatever, like you did. That is not polite  |

Lack of professionalism by some greedy organizers.
But in other hand the lables and party promoters are growing healthy.
For me the realll BIG problem is about the kids that dont know why they r awake for..

i was not talking about portuguese artists ....
i was talking about portuguese partys ...
there is good and cool partys in terms of ambient and musik but that partys are most of the time privats.... |

we thought the same and ppl who make parties just want make money and only think in line up and forget deocration and vj and some conditions we need to feel good in one party  but not all in our opinion

Well ,not everything is bad around here...some promoters continue to deliver high class partys and we have all kind of music around here...good partys are happening - you just have to find them!!

this is business and like every thing in a business sometimes is good and sometimes is bad and when its bad and you have to make money and every thing matters it doesīnt matter if its good or bad.the imperfections are very perceptive like the same decor used in 4/6 parties the same artists always(for instance cristal always brings the same artits and i dont blame them because they want to have profit so they bring the mainstream gms parasense talamasca is always the same artists)and the mood in a party there are the so called mitras that want to sell drugs and stole cars in the suposed guarded park for the cars to many drugged kids that think tha just the fact that being in a trance party is the best thing in the world but being in a party with the head full of drugs and always with the same conversation bla bla bla.every week you have 4/5 parties(too many)i wont say any thing positive because ypu only ask for the imperfections but sometimes you have a good gathering in small parties low profile

Well...the topic says trance parties..
This year I just attended to very few full on parties...and i can say that i was really surprised with the one from trance karma...professional team ,nice deco and nice crowd...canīt give my opinion about other promoters ,but if they are promoting parties half as good as this one (in terms of all conditions given to the public)i canīt say the parties in Portugal are bad at this moment.
If we talk about progressive events ,well ,at least in Lisbon ,there are very good parties ,with some good promoters and a fabulous crowd...new and different artists are being invited to play.
So for what Iīve seen this year , i cant really say that our scene is in a down period.
For sure while some are making a good work ,some are not doing the same ,but the pple have to know wich parties to attend and not just follow the mega comercial line ups.

one of the issues in here, is that like in the rest of the world, we have people going 2 parties that donīt have the clue why they are there, bad organizers (well they are into the money, and they can do that, but please give conditions 2 the people), so the real porpuse of a partie is gone and lost...
there are a few exceptions nowadays real good and small intimate parties, like u mentioned biovrelle, cause there is the only way u can ensure u are going 2 have a good partie with no stress...and thix is very simple, cause in a big partie if there is no spirit, there canīt b a good environment...now if u are there for a good partie and u are almost 100 percent there will b familiar faces and friends and family, there maybe u can transcendentate urself 
and one more thing, one big issue is what people think that they now everything...there is nothing more inapropriet than people thinking that they belong 2 some kind of superior class, cause they are doing something phsysical, and so they think they now more than the others.
some people think they now everything, and u canīt even have a different approach on a different vision or basis, that u donīt know what u are doing in here.
and u can mention that there are crowd and wannabes producers/musicians that think they are supreme beings and nothing humble people..so with thix kind of elitist feeling the purpose of a partie/trance is by start lost. ... |
