it does sound realy a little stupid, but if u dont know u dont know:P
there is no such thing as a hotel, the next one is in the next village like 7km away.
about getting robbed is a good point, it does happen alot on boom, many of my friends got robbed and i could see a stranger in the night looking through the stuff of our friends camping next to us.
well the solution is very easy: dont bring any fancy stuff u dont need, keep ur important things on ur body and try to camp together with other ppl so u can help each other watching out for stuff...
also the leaving things in the car solution didnt worked out good for many ppl last year then glas breaks very easy.....
but in the end its like everywhere in the world if u leave things unprotected lying around they will get stolen...
just be a little careful and nothing will stop ur blasting experience of boom

Namaste,
I was wondering if there's anybody out there heading to Boom, who may be going alone or in groups, who would'nt mind some company (very good, I assure you..... ) to share some smoke, some good vibes & lots of great spirit in this exponential extravaganza.
It would help a lot to camp together in the same area, to help keep an eye on all our belongings & minimise the incidence of temptation for some rather opportunistic individuals.
We can exchange the necessary details etc on PM, to get to know one-another in due course, as we approach August & should one feel that that the connection is not as expected, please feel free to change plans. No hard feelings!!
Boom Bolenath!!

no question here is stupid question, this is why this forum exist. what everyone saying here is true, i can only add this;
dont lock your tent. most robbers out there dont give up, they will rip your tent from the back and walk in... trust me, im talking from experiance here, dont bring a fancy tent as well.. my freind got back one night to a 400$ rip northface tent... im talking big knife cut on the back of his tent,thats a sad thing to see... nothing was there to take, but the tent is history...
take that in mind.
bring a cheapass tent, nothing valuable and just have fun, they have everything you need there.
see you at BOOM!
