No 1 said it is unpsychedelic but it was just part of the contradiction regarding the above-mentioned in this specific issue. It seems that the group/fans of dark "music" can't tolerate the fact that full on music is psychedelic as well - or actually was the earlier stream of psychedelic music - so they immediately deny brighter and easy going music.
Not to mention that this specific album that is full of harmonies and melodies which make it much more pleasant and attractive for most of us (at least for me and I'm not that odd). If that doesn't do u guys any good or concern you in any way that is ok, but your position is far from being critics, especially when the music u DO love is not a main stream kind of music, not even in the psy trance that is.
I guess the phrase "psychedelic" eventually became an excuse for a lack of skill or a talent; if one's track sounds a bit too weird or a little off desired level of production than u may call it psychedelic and release it instead of thrashing it down the sewage. I don’t think the same way; I think it is an unsuccessful project or a music piece. That's why most trance artist today should be grateful for the fact of tolerance psychedelic trance offers.
I'm pretty sure we can all agree there, so bottom line is that "dark"/"psy" people are better off holding in their negative feelings and try and improve the image of dark music.
Maybe that way you will get the little bit of attention you really wish for and not with that mocking attitude.
Still, there are some exceptions here, there for this post does not include the whole dark scene but those who care to degrade others.

Psychedelic music? Music at all? ? Are you certain?
That really doesn't do me any good; This kind of music is sure as hell not something I'd listens to, but than again, it's your choice and we must respect that.

After listening and analizing te album for 4th time
I really appreciate the good work and the exclusive sound from the "POP"
unmistakable with those "tight sounds" that only the Stream can do
in my opinion the Best album's track

Personally I'm not a "dark" music fan. But you are gone too far from the term "psychedelic", becuase psychedelic means somethnig very emotional, mind-altering, innovative, hallucinative...And Pop Stream's music is just kiddies music, euro dance and nothing of the forementioned...You may say that "psychedelic" is different for the different people...But what if every word was different that way-there would be no communication...So I thought we talk about something really "psychedelic" and not easy software music, made for the teenage raves...I think Prometheus has something really psychedelic to offer... |
