You're a bit carried away, I'd say.

But yes, it is a nice debut, though quite a bit before its time. I would have left two tracks here and send the rest for compilations and then start working on a debut.

Crying Comet & Culture Units are beautiful and moving with strong feel, and show a lot of talent and a promising future.

If it would sound less like Atomic Pulse and more like Pop Stream it would help a lot.

When producing someone else, you don't make him sound like you, you make him sound like him! But being a producer is not an easy job and requires a lot of experience as well...

There's definitely a future here, once he gets his style and production together.           ---------------------------------------------

As I've said before here: It's not about something sounding as something else, it's how it makes you feel! If a copycat song makes you feel good, do you have to say it's bad?? That's what you're implying indirectly here Shahar.

Anyway, this album makes me feel good, and that's what music (to me) is about!!           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

It's not what I'm implying at all.

I think that the line Atomic Pulse chose to produce Pop Stream's music is not the right one and does not give the right effect to the tracks.

I believe a softer approach at times, with more varied sound choice would have given much more space and power to the exact same emotions you are talking about, which appealed to me here as well.

I am really enjoying this CD.

While I do agree with Shahar that the sound palette is similar to Atomic Pulse, the arrangements are a bit more straightforward and melodic and less psychedelic. There are bigger atmospheric sounds here as well, which sets it apart from the Atomic Pulse tracks IMO.

My latest order from Psyshop was this CD and "De-toxicated" so I had the chance to compare the two side by side
