Heard today Atmos' Headcleaner, an album that unquestonably started the scando trend in Psy. I was wondering what albums, compilations or tracks do you think had the same impact. For me:
Hallucinogen - Twisted
Hux Flux - Cryptic Crunch
Infected Mushroom - The Gathering
X-Dream - Radio
Where very revollutionary albums that took the scene steps ahead.
Do you think there are albums today that do the same to the scene or will do in the future?           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

V/A Progress in Trance, Compiled by Dj Anti @ Transient Recordings. This CD started Progressive Scando thingy a year before Headcleaner. There Vibra-Converter been ON'ed

Tarsis - Melt, also has a big cause on German Trance and "Hamburg Sound", which is importent things imo.

V/A - Tryptamin, Iboga Records. First track there Fabio vs Bitmonx - Erdbeer Kiwi, when i heard first time how its knock the door i felt that time has come !! this compilation maked clear, Denmark a player that u should take seriously.

Today im not sure if i can name a "groundbrake" CD, just becoze i cant see future But for me its Trancefeld - Party Center 800 @ Sunset, just becoze its not Trance but Psy and Different and Phony Orphants - Symphony allready wrote at my book as 100% well done album, not something that i say every month.

and i agree on IM, X-Dream and Atmos albums as well.

I will. It's been a long time since a CD moved me so much, a real long time. I think this album is gonna survive a long long time and I really think everyone should do himself a favor and buy a copy.           ---------------------------------------------

The first Order Odonata CD was probably the most influential - lots of MWNN and Hallucinogen. There's the TIP Shiva Series - which helped goa trance evolve a lot forward, and TIP's Phosphorescent which was the first compilation to show what proper night-time psy can be like (the first Psychopod track, Gamma Goblins and the Soothsayer remix by Hallucinogen, X-Dream's Panic in Paradise and more).

Ohh yeah, and Bigwigs - Fraktalik Fraternity... but that's already wishfull thinking.

well, shahar's call here was dead on. some milestones there, and than some.
I'd like to add the following:
X-dream - Irritant. Some people say it's like radio with better sound production. i say it's a bigger than life of an album.
Cosma - Simplicity. Setting the boundaries for nouvaeu-trance, this is a key element in defining and re-shaping israeli sound-scape.
The Muses Rapt - Spiritual Healing. Call me Old Fashioned, but there's somthing about this album, that is so filled with emotions and spaced out sounds that makes me have goosebumps all over each time i listen to it. where would the trance world be without Juan's most memroable work, Spiritual Healing?
this one's already been mentioned, but i feel like it should recieve some more recognition - Tandu - Multimoods. a quintessential classic of sorts, a trance gem and a musical exepditionary mission. Warbling sounds that make it all sound crisp and old at the same time.
