Well folks, a little teaser:
a friend of mine heard the disc (Tobias and Daniel Sun were here in Brazil until last week, they are A&R of Plastik Park/Sunset) and he said it's amazing. Not a single bad track. That's all for now...can't wait for it to come out.

What I can´t understand is that Daniel & Tobias (both played on my party) are A&R of these 2 labels that release some really killer stuff and they dj only fluffy progressive house stuff...
I haven´t heard Tegma, Antix, BeatBizarre or any track following this style in a 3 hour set and on the next day, at the Sunset Label Party, it was the same... Tobias told me it´s a kind of a new fever in German... but he called it himself as UK Trance...

yeas,germans call it UK trance.. this year Lovefield festival make special presintation of this style.. its going to be "next" thing ;) |

Are you both refering to "fluffy progressive house stuff" ???
Is that what the guys in Plastik Park / Sunset are playing these days ? if so, I guess we're all doomed ! ;)
Anyhows, fever ? the "next" thing ?
I sure get a fever myself listening to this kind of music... although, if you like this music, maybe you should check out Kamaflage 2 (if you did not already).
and another thing, isn't this music too damn old to be the next big thing ? or maybe UK Trance has a different defintion ?
Can someone help me out here guys ???

yes it was such a sad feeling i had when i heard so called uk trance ( psychedelic house? hehe ).
it made ppl flow nice but its not psychedelic...

to hagai - u absollutelly right, its not so new but its new in trance dance zone.. UK trance its all about progressive without psy but with some great flow tunes.. not exactly house but clubby for sure.. kamaflage is a great example... dj nukem is another one.. mark allen hopefield is one more.. |

DJ Nukem made a beautiful remix to Aiwana (listen to it now ! Son Kite - Aiwana Remixes EP), if that is a sample of UK Trance, then I just might like it ;)
Although I don't like that style, I will keep open-minded...
Hopefiend = Mark Allen ?
I was not aware of that. 10x Zombi :D

i hate trends. they make people like bad music. i can understand daniel and tobias sun going for the fluffy UK progressive house stuff, but if someone like mahasuka goes to that style, then we are truly doomed. |
