Welcoming the year 2003 Planet Shroom returns on the 8th of February at the Depot. Teaming up with Bristol’s finest underground techno crew – ‘Lunacy’ to bring you a night of cosmic chaos and techno mayhem:)

hi stubhah (replying to locked thread)
the scene in bristol is quite good at the moment -there are a couple of party crews down here - Tribe of Frog, Planet Shroom and Sub-Atomic and others - summer is alot more fun though we all get to go outside to the countryside - the depot itself is on 3 floors with a capacity of about 700 people - so psy-trance upstairs and techno/nrg downstairs! should be a good laugh!

I would like to thanks Andy McGuire. It looks to me that the production of this party is very well organised, something which i dont see very much back home (brazil).
I hope that you guys keep up with it. and help keep the culture alive.
Never been to any parties in this country, i have just got back from Universo Paralello's NYE Festival in Brazil, i hope i can get the same vibes which i got there.

ho Dear......what a way, so i left the big rush city to Bristol (Again ), got to the party about 24:00 and so that the place was Pack already in all the rooms, then i met up with Andy and Avi so i didnt really listen to snafu set (Sorry mark).
Anyway....
then Sean start his set at about 1am and i dont wont to upset anybody but what the Hell his he doing playing at this time of the night Crazy-Hard-Very fast-Full on, really not my cup of chi, but like andy said to me the crowd in bristol they want full on from the start to the end non-Stop, so yes the crowd did jump like a bounch of Madness, but for as for me i like when the party build it self from Progressive to full-on.
ok so for me the party really started when Andy start playing at about 2:00am, good mixing good tunes (what can i say more) just great.
now....i had no ideal that so many people know Astrix, but i was wrong, Avi have turn the crowd upside down, now this is what i call music for the morning, and his mixing was Amazing (although he had some problem with the mixer, it all worked fine , he playied stuff from his album and new stuff of him and a few tracks that he made with delirius, good stuff, and of course Scientific Reality, wich i think he is the only one who can play it and people wont say, we got sick from this track. 
i can say that i danced for nonstop.
so.....i'v just came back from bristol and i had a very nice time.
i want to thank Andy and all the planet of shroom people, good job.

Great party guys, it was great from the begging till the end, met loads of nice people as well
I was sad that I had to leave when music stopped. I felt as if I was back home, had some really good vibes coming from everyone
I hope to see those ppl who I met again in some other party.

hi
well it was a great night - well done to all involved - but i gotta say Inside us all (projections) absolutley excelled themselves - we were having problems with noise interferance with the projections (i wont pretend to understand this and take this any further but this is what dave told me) about 30 mins before we opened - dave, calv and ralph said we can get round this by moving nearer the stage - cool do it - so they then moved all their kit down there and hey-presto all was well!, thanks also to rosco - who yet again provides one of the best light shows around as far as i'm concerned, nat and snafu for playing - how did u feel mark?, i had a great time apart form a few snags here and there, but it wouldn't be a proper party if things didn't go wrong:) - To Astrix - i've said this to a few people but i would love to listen to a 2 hour set of just astrix - but ovbiously if any dj did this they would get slated - the only person who can is Avi - and he was fukin storming! One moment i wont forget in a hurry was 300 people singing - 'come on now lets all take some mescaline!' (consider that you cant buy psy in bristol, and we had thought that nobody recognised tunes but how wrong we were!) before launching into a mosh bit! wicked tunes from him - new album after the summer so i've heard - looking forward to that - want to say a big thanks to luncay and denz and the other shroom people, and last but by no means least - Mr Yankovich from Hommega who made all this possible - so c u all soon in some dark room or under the night sky outside (not long till the summer now!)
