i come around 1'st of dec. , and stay 4 weeks....
"vortex " is the organizer.
are there any other interesting promoters in joburg or somewhere else?(except cape town)
would be great if you can let me know.................

Lunartech is the major party organiser in Jo'burg who usually brings out intl acts. I'll forward them your posting & will get in contact soon |

Tell me... just out of interest.... what kind of equipment are you planning on playing your live set with?
Also... another question....
would you be interested in doing an interview at a local community radio station in cape town while you're down here?

usually for the live show i use 16 or 24channel
mackie desk ,lexicon pcm90/91 any
masterkeyboard,tc. d two(delay) akai s3000xl,
and 1 analog synth,like roland sh101,or seqeantial pro one......... sound card i use emi box
(emagic) 6/2............ and i bring my laptop mac g4 "12"inch with some brandnew tunes............
about interview:
sure would be great.....

lekka dude!
looks like we're in for a REAL live show this time!
So many guys come here to South Africa... switch on their laptop... plug in a deadboard.... play with a few buttons and knobs on the controller.... shake their heads... and smile at the crowd... and say that they're playing live...
nice to know that you're bringing so much cool hardware!
Once again.. more and more questions....hehe...
how do you hook everything up..? as in how much stuff is pre-recorded and how much will you be doing absolutely live?
looking forward to some of you new tunes!

hi ApsyDrop,
i don't want to disappoint you but for sure its not a 100% live show...... the tracks will be played by audio-card and i do live efx with the machines(feedback delays,sample use), to do a live show with one person is impossible.....
there are many different ways to do a live show.
but i use all that equipment..... he,he....

are you from cape town??

well... yeah.. i was wondering if it there was only one of you using all that equipment live on stage!
hehe.....
Should be interesting with the live effects....
do you feed seperate channels out of the soundcard into the mixer and then into the SFX unit... and then just adjust the aux fx when you want to... or are you just going to be adding extra live stuff from the sampler and effecting that with the sound fx units?

i put the aux sends into the effect (as usual) and the output
(returns) back on the desk channels ..... 
(for EQ'ing)....
