At last peter gun' s album is in my cd player.
A long awaited work from a talented artist also known as 10 madison.
All tracks follow a cluby dance path which characterized by it's brilliance and
crystal clear production .
All tracks are at the same style except track 4(chilla )which is a chill(a) downtempo breakbeat track full of melancholic melodies.
All the other tracks are between 130-133 bpm.
Track 2 have samples(lyrics) that reminds me a lot the historic project front 242 and that is make it special for me.
This album is the hapiness of a dj and not only because all the track can be played without doubt
Support it without doubt 2.

Tom anteater. yes it's released and i forgot to mention that the cover is very good.A minimal picture showing correcting glasses which one part have a hole from a bullet.also if you open the cover and unfold it you have the same picture bigger for a mini poster.

Well. Peter Gun is very talented house artist i think
and his single Pressure Point was very popular in
nightclubs. This album haven't new sound but
each track made with deep professionalism and
perfect taste. Prog. techno-house workstyle mixed
with good mastering and reasonableness
mosaic of intelligent soundpatterns.
Just good!

WHAT? Nice cover art? Take a look:

http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/mil/mil1cd116.html

One of the worst cover arts I have seen lately... Me and a friend has started on this list of worst cover arts. This almost beats Potato Gun....!

About the music. This is pure House music. It has nothing to do with trance. Ok, it might be good house music, but it doesn't sound that fresh. I have listened to house music since the beginning of the 90's, and this sounds like tons of other house music I have heard.

And how can you say that people go nuts on the dancefloor to this music? Have you ever seen the energy you find on a trance floor on some house floors with a bpm like that? Think not. Sorry, someone had to say it....

By the way, I'm not saying that the album is bad...           CHILL TRIBE

Well PKS stuff like this is real trance (IMO). The word 'trance' is a state of mind and full-on 150bpm trance doesn't do it. Prog house/trance on the other hand around 130-134bpm is much better for bringing on trance state. And yes the energy on a prog house floor can be huge (and funky at the same time)

Peter's album is very nice by the way, to bring things back to topic.

I agree on the trance state thing, but "go nuts" sounds more like people being really crazy on the dancefloor.... I prefer prog trance if I should choose between this cafe house and some drifting progressive trance...

Again, yes the album sounds nice, but there isn't that NEW sound people are talking about...           CHILL TRIBE

Well yeah PKS, I guess it aint nothing 'NEW', but a nice album anyway (I think we agree on that)

'go nuts' may also mean that the dance floor is really going for it, making noise, kicking some dust up, dancing their ass off... not just people being crazy (weird).

Also you said house has nothing to do with trance.... ???? Well I play house and trance in the same sets and so do many many dj's. Remember trance isn't music... it's a state! At the end of the day, good beats are good beats, good music is good music what ever you want to call it.

It sounds decent enough, but the cover really sucks. Anyway, if you're into this kind of thing, it's worth buying. I'll pass on this one, it has too much house influence and too little trance vibes for me.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

Firstly wanna say that the cover really strange but it has the wierdness.

About music and styles - anyone who doesnt want to listen to progressive trance or house can listen to astrix and so on - but for me and for many others on this forum peter's music is good and pumping.
Dont know what is NEW sound and what is not new.
2,4,7 - favourites

The album has nice bassy sound - like it very much.

Music is one musicians are many.PKS if i go to a party i cano dance if the dj begin with skazi or astrix , anyway something full on.He have to start with something to warm me up.and what if the style of peter gun is old-school tech house? so what? The production is new the ideas are new.And for the cover now.I liked it because it is so much different from the classical dance covers that follow a specific line, and trance covers are so colourfoul and so "cliche".
And i agree with glen. This music can be danced and can be heard by many people.Psychedelic trance music is a difficult music for some ears.Although i like and i play psychedelic but in the right time. Not all the times are the same. And if you are a music lover you have to be openeared
