so what he is promoting his label, if it was astrix you wouldent mind, but its because its Detox and no 1 likes him, because he does parties and makes money,good luck Detox with your label, supporting greek trance fans and making parties |

Erevos the interview was posted in the promotional section by Full On who was responsible for it,i just thought it would be nice to also post it in the Greek section since Exposure Productions is a Greek label and some people might be interested in it.
Thanks Moonsun for the kind words,just one thing though,the people that i am friends with dont spend much time on this forum but for sure offer more to the scene than those that just come in here and complain about everyone and everything.Just yesterday i spend my whole evening with various label managers and party promoters of Athens and not only but none of us comes in public and support each other like a bunch of kids who judge others by how many posts they have and how many users are with them or against them.The fact that i go to every party of my town and find just friends and nice people that i wanna talk to and also want to talk to me makes me feel good every day

What a f...ing interview! What I liked most was the part you said:

DETOX: For me being a psychedelic trance label manager is more an expensive hobby rather than a real job.My real job is running a boat company and keeping an eye on my family's other business in New York, thats where the money comes from for me to live and to invest on my label. At the same time being an International Business student made me realize that the fastest way to become a millionaire is to be a billionaire and open a trance label.
So we have a billionaire-millionaire isratrance member here!

i don't really care if DETOX is a super-intelligent superhero, an ultrarich villain, a useless bum or a school teacher... as far as i'm conserned, we have a man with a past, present and a promising future contribution in our scene, + he's greek.
So good job so far Detox and good luck with your future plans, and i'd be happy if i could be of any help.
The rest of you, just lay back, download new mp3's, and continue criticising anything that moves on this planet. (this does not include ppl that are being just humourous... those are ultra-welcome ) |

Trust me the bigger psonia in our small scene are the DJ's thats why you see so many of them around,half of the forum is (or at least think that is) a DJ for example hehe.
Label owners and Party promoters are people who work more on the backround and the majority of trance fans dont even know how they look like.I mean do you know people like Simon H from Twisted Records and Oren Kristal from Phonokol?Probably not even though they are into psy trance more than 10 years each of them.Do you know who the organisers of Boom Festival are?Probably not also.
You see some people really care for the music and this small scene and want to promote it to even bigger audiences and do not really care for their own fame and exposure.I mean do you really think that the average clubber that goes to a psy trance event once a month knows who the fuck Detox is?
Half of the Greek people owning an Exposure Productions cd dont even know that Exposure is a Greek label.
Once i was trying to convince someone in Discobole for half an hour that Digital Performers compilation is a cd compiled by a greek label and he just refused to believe it although he bought the cd LOL.

Of course they are,they sprout everywhere like mushrooms.
Who ever has cd's(mp3 or not)is a dj.
When i was a kid the bigger guys want to be footballers,actors,singers.
Now everybody wants to be Dj,Promoter,Label owner.Not only in trance scene.House,Rmb, etc.
It's a vogue 
I'm also play music but i'm not a dj and i don't want to be.
It's beter to sit in a corner and watch the show
