Very massive and intelligent tracks. I think Yuli get the right progressive direction. "Kompyuterov personal'nyi SPUTNIK" sample [rus] (Personal satellite of computers) in 9th track sounding is very well! |

Great album, great sounds and great vibe.
The music is loaded with alot of vibes and energy and it sure makes ones ass move.
Reminds me of Nectons B12 Cocktail in some of the grooves
Great album and a nice change from you .

This album has been spinning for a month now, wether at home, gigs, and now at parties in paradise landscape : it is a wonderful companion! I ve been trying to select my favourite tracks. In vain. All work perfectly, each in its way and perspective. This album has class, elegance, it is culture and music-laden : there are hints of different styles and influences, but never overstated.
Each collabs brings the album precious contributions in different ways.
It is an essential album : excellent music for all and for musicians.

I bought it a couple of weeks ago and I can't tak it off the cd player!
Can't wait to dance some of this tunes in a party, but the album is a multilayered affair, perfect for home listening, car driving.
Very intelligent electronic music. Digital, but with a soul.
Big big compliments Yuli! |

Great stuff. Iboga releases some good stuff these days, although the new Phony Orphants album was a bit of a downer... Back to this: some really good psyprog here, Yuli has excelled himself. This is the best stuff he has brought out since his 2nd BLT album in my ears. Superb production, good crisp sounds, pounding basslines and all good tracks from start to finish. To top it all off the artwork is great too. All in all a package no proggy lover should be without. I like all the tracks. Standouts will probably arise after more listens, but for now... Great album!!

This CD has pretty much the impact one me that Freq's album did. I know it's a pretty strange comparison, but it's like back to trance again!
Wonderfull music.

To all those that responded here I really moved and happy to hear your opinions, some ppl here really dig the music I wrote as it meant by me to be received and felt, and that is simply wonderful.
I will try to keep on delivering and make the change as long as I stick to music making
Thanks a bunch

After 4 solo albums under his BLT project- Alchemic Anecdote, Presence, God is Love, and Anything U Want (together with Danni Makov)- some EP's, lots of releases, and at least 6-7 years of experience in making electronic music,ý
Yuli Fershtat delivers us his Fifth album - Learning = Change - fresh European progressive music that fits perfectly both for home listening and as dancefloor material.ý
As for the music, Learning = Change contains 9 Unreleased tracks, of them two collaborations and two remixes:ý
ý1. Starter
ý2. Dr. Feelgood
ý3. Morning Blues
ý4. Those Days
ý5. Hyperdrive
ý6. Truth
ý7. Nobody's Perfect (remix)ý
ý8. Desert Session
ý-ý
ý9. Radio Schatsi (Perfect Stranger remix)ý
ý'Truth' was written together with Mikael Dahlgaard aka Emok.ý
ý'Desert Session' was written together with Wouter Thomassen aka Zen Mechanics.ý
ý'Nobody's Perfect' original version was released on the Set/4 compilation on Iboga records, and it was remixed especially for this album.ý
ý'Desert Session' was written by Yoni Oshrat aka Ace Ventura under his side project Schatsi, and was remixed by Yuli.ý
The album is very diverse; you can listen to it in any kind of mood, and it keeps drawing you in deeper and deeper. Some tracks are gentler, with warm atmospheres and harmonies, some are more sophisticated and progressive, and some are more kicking and pumping.ý
Moreover, it's not hard to distinguish the top-notch sound and the extremely interesting story telling on all of the tracks on this CD, which really point out Yuli's skills as a writer and as a producer.ý
All in all, this is one of the best progressive albums from Iboga. All of the tracks are really good, a must have for every proggy fan around the globe.ý
Highly Recommended!!!ý
Personal favs: 1!,3!,5!!,6!!,7,8!ý
