Hello orgnaizers and anyone who read this
I saw before few minunts the movie- KARAHANA DRAG-LESS 97
and i tought to my self= this big rave was before almost 7 years, since 1997 isreal dont see any rave like this one WHY?????
in the present the isreali crowd know the trace better than he knew before 7 years
so it is the time to organize another big rave for isreali trance community. i know it is not easy but it possilble.
Please comment!

you absolutely right guy, that's shame that we have no much festivals in our country,in such a big country of the trance music!
from what i know there was only 3 festivals, "sun splash" and two more on ganey hoga.
i think that if will be more festivals they will be success, so to all the organizers thats the time to wake up, and make a serious festival........

Almost all what was special about that rave and Nitzanim one that followed in the same year is gone today.. There is so much greed and almost no vibe in big events. The only event I have been to that was big and reminded me of the raves u pointed out is the collaboration between Tsunami, Twins and Ofer / Marik / Ori ex Oma - Coma and it was some 4 times less than this crowdwise but kept the spirit very well.
No one of the ones that can pull out a project of 15000 ppl event in Israel today has even a bit of vibe left, and I stand behind my words..
And maybe it's for the better, since the whole trance spirit is in NO EGO, NO GIGANTIC STAGES, NO 10000 PPL RAVES, but just bunch of cool dudes that want to have fun and dance to psy electronic music in the nature

By the sound of it what katam is trying to organize might turn out to be the repeat of Karahana. Surely the old vibe is gone, so let's try and bring it back. Even better let's make a new vibe! We can go on forever crying about how parties aren't what they used to be, it's pointless. The same thing happened in the House scene when it exploded in israel in the 90's and now the diehard clubbers are moaning that it's all gone. That's life. Music evolves, people evolve, parties evolve. Everything changes. So we can't get stuck on the same old things. As for having big festivals, I too opose big commercial events with ego and money, but tell me this how is it possible that trance festivals take place in europe without turning out to be a commercial arce circus? I think the time is right we had ourselves a good festival which could bring some internasional crowd here. Asides being good for the tourism(and the goverment should really look into this one  ) it would diverse the spirit here and bring back that vibe y'all are talking about. A festival is a chance to get some serious trance acts over here and expand our music menu as well as a good stage for all the local muscians to promote their music. I think the music sales aren't at their best latly or am I mistaken. Think about it Yuli.

i third that!
i don't think the amount of poeple at a festival is the kee to making a good vibe. it's about having people connect to one another and the music. people have to stop looking around themselve's while they dance and think, that guy's beutiful and that guy's a "shimon". you know what, people, even my friends might get pissed at me for saing this... those "shimon's" party harder and enjoy themselves more than anyone! true, they aren't wearing clothes from india and they don't have long beutiful hare. but they come there and dance, and they don't give a goddamne about what others think about them. i sure do hopw what Katam and i are planning will have that great vibe! we will do anything and everything in our power to bring that great vibe. it's not about the money for us, it's about having a great festival like the ones in europe and other places... |

U think there is any chance that big amount of ppl like in Drugless 1997 ( I don't know how much ppl were there but it sure more that 10,000 ) will dance like there is no tomorow on festival in Isreal ?
The festivals of our days are lame - half of the crowd not connected to trance at all and the other half disappoint dance near the first half. |

in this days nobody(police&medical&fire sources) give to orgnaizers make a festival!!! 
festivals in isreal is a jok("drugless"-this year )!!!

Maybe what you have to do in ought to organize this festival, is to ask the production ppl of Druglees 97 how they did it, what does it take, how do you get the police approval. I think it should be a blast, but in every comment here there is something true and important - You know that the trance scene has changed a lot these last couple of years, the music became harder and the parties become crowded with the fun left outside. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the old good parties are involved with old type of trace music (the retro style they call it now), and all the good people left the scene cause of the lousy parties. Don't ya all get me wrong, I still go and enjoy parties now, but only few unfortunately!...
I can still remember the Dance'n Levis breakthrough in Eshkol Park, I was young then but enjoyed that new amazing thing sooo much! (although it was trance and house rave together, It was a great event!)
old trance music=old trance ravers=good old raves=joyyyyyyyyy...

Im sitting here in my house & wating for 2 years to hear this things...
im glad to see that the "ground" is ready for that.
Listen here....it it possible & even chip to make a culterul festival!
but...it demends all of U to understand that Psychadelya is a way of life not only tunes!
its not only the music & people its the drugs the place & the "=" of all that , that will make it special again..
we cant go back to the past ... but i ask you for the first time to help build a FUTURE!
i ask you all to be pationt and wait, its closer then you ever imagine!
its already in the making...

I say that the parties and the music has changed among other things the people, the atmosphere...
It's true that you can't get back to the past, but you can take what's left from there, add some groovy vibes and people, and there you have the rythem to dance forever..
I hope this call will be heard for the right people to take things, consider and organize us the event that we're all waiting for!  |

A shame it ain't like that in real life...
A big festival costs money, Big Dj's cost money, a FAT sound system cost money... ofcourse you don't need me telling you all this as i'm sure you know all that.
I agree with Yuli %100! trance is not about big raves and loads of people , you want big festivals like in europ... well it's not gonna happen in Israel as long as it's an army/police running country...
beside the nicest parties iv been in israel where small underground parties  :)
