Firstly, HELLO :] i just joined this forum, looks great
i am planning my first "doof" and was hoping some luvly ppl might be able to gimme some pointers, what to expect and all that
it will be a non profit fund raiser for a local charity (hopefullly a forest regen group or someone similar)
Any help would be GREAT...

I think he means that he wants advice on throwing a nature party...

I'm sure that there are plenty of people here who can give you some advice, right guys?
Anyway, if your throwing a party in a forest, then you have to find a location which is both Accessable for cars, and yet far from the cops eyes. (unless your event is Authorized)
apart from that, get a good sound system (Turbo Sound is good for your cause), and use some flouro decorations and UV lighting. Make sure you have a generator which can support the whole sound and light system, and don't forget to put the generator far away from the dancefloor, cause they make allot of noise... And don't forget what murphey said - "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong"... so make sure that nothing can go wrong.

the only rule i know in putting a "good acid party" is to get ridd of at list one botlle of good acid drops, then you put it in the fridge and go to deal with all the rest...

I remmber that in the party that was in alexander lake, it was one before that Duvdev got married with this blond chick,
the watermelons that they gave in the morning had LSD in them...
I will never forget the visions from that day... )
and my friend told me that he doesnt touch in hallucinagens... ohh boy it was funny seeing him triping )...

I think one thing Munchie forgot, is = INVITE PEOPLE! hahaha, unless you wanna party with yourself, and in that issue, we know people make the party , build the vibe, move the land ...
so , get "good" people as a crowd so this could be a happy party .

well and the 2nd thing is to get rid of the police or to get a confirm place like privet 1 that police wont enter the place.

i plan on providing "herbal highs" (like LSA, Epheadra, Guarana, etc). i think a good alternative to the harder drugs is a good thing...
what's the deal is with inviting international acts? who pays for what (travel, accomodation, food, and all that). could be a little out of my budget ;]
does anyone have any suggestions for mind blowing installations? i would like to have a person dressed up like a trippy psychedelic tree, dancing around the floor :] |

Are we talking about a party in Israel or abroad?
Cause there are a few differences.
Like if it's abroad, I believe in many places u'd have less problems with the cops, so it's not a thing u have to deal with too much.
And what about the music? To which crowd are u aiming to?

The party will be in Australia (Byron Bay)
i think i may have troubles with the police (unfortunately). they are just starting to crack down on outdoor psy trance parties.
music will be mainly psy, but i am wanting to introduce a variety of other styles of electronica, as well as live percusion and didge playing.
The crowd i wanna reach is open minded, conscious of the fragility of our bush land, out there hippies, and HAPPY PEOPLE :] but anyone is welcomed, as long as they bring good vibes.
