Héctor Stuardo's Proyect, known as Ovnimoon, is one of the precursors of Psytrance in Chile. With more than 9 years of trayectory, playing as a Dj in several important parties and festivals of his country, such as Loveparade, Earthdance, Raves ( To name some), besides of being one of the most complete trance artists, experimenting with many styles, like Psytrance, Progressive Trance & Chill Out, in many well known record companys. -like Spliff Music, from Israel, Ajana Rec. from Germany, Geomagnetic Tv from U.S.A. Synergetic Rec. from Austria.- representing this four records, as a Dj or artist, Magma Rec. from Italy, Yse from Germany, Groove Control from Israel, Usta Rec. from Israel, AP Rec. from Germany among others, like Warner Rec. from Chile, Pacific Sounds from bolivia, and in several Underground Compilations or "V.A".
The first album release is at his 26 years old with Synergetic Records - the company that discovered him -. The album titled "Camanchaca" reflects a complete change in his characteristics and compositions, which will define Ovnimoon. And that same change is the one able to put him in connection to the originary ritual and shamanic spirit, mixed with trance music, creating in that way and eclectic and unique quality reflected by an intense yet relaxed, interesting and travel like mixture between the tones, colours and textures. Reaching by that way music that goes from relaxation to dance trance music. Being very influenciated by original trance and native music, creating a simple and "light" style, but strong composition which give a traveling and inspiring ambience trough stories told in every song.
This record was really well recieved by people who got it, that values musical arts and keeps enyojing it until today, because the main characteristic's that it was never focused just to the dancefloors but to a wide chart of styles that keep it alive and strong until today.
Ovnimoon, who's actually 27 years old, has been growing musically and trough his musical tastes of course, experimenting with Psytrance for a long time with chilean public. After discovering new sounds, new styles and new interests from nowdays and avant garde ones, he's coming back this year, with a new work that reflects his present way of life.
Human Spirit is the new name for the expected album to come. Nine tracks that show an important evolution since the first album and an visible line between the Psytrance compositors in Chile. The new style's called Progressive Morning Trance, mixing many diferent trance styles, House, Deep House, Electro, Psychodelic, resulting as a Progressive fusion "delicatedly blended". The album turns around the 126 bmps to the 140 bmps, with a cosmic development in every track. This Ovnimoon album comes with new colaborations, from artists such as Mixed Emotions (Israel), El Zisco (Chile-Germany), Viviana Lemos (Argentina) & Duca (Serbia).
It reflects what Ovnimoon has been recolecting through his stage years combined with experience, creating in this album a new believing and a new concept of trance and musical joy, a kind o music that creates his own way of life, that it could be explained as the kind of music not necesarilly fast or agressive, simple, with a simple and clear information, softer with classy thoughts but really intense. An album that has been made thinking in dance floors across the globe, a record that has been created to stay and not to be disposed as pop culture, a record that can be heard everywhere without the need to be in a party.
With clear messages, like the one that the title of the album shows " Human Spirit", "The sistem kills the human spirit, we will show you that that the spirit's still alive, do you believe? (by Viviana Lemos), and besides, another message from the Shamans in the Amazonas, that let to know between the "Ayahuasca" experience, being the mediums of this sacred plant, to respect our Pachamama, to take care of it to protect it and respect it. Two enormous messages that we should start to apply into life all together, NOW.
Ovnimoon is actually getting ready to keep doing Dj Sets and live acts in Santiago (Chile) where he lives currently, and getting a new Chill Out album ready, trying to keep up the Psytrance composition and formulating the idea for an Electro proyect.
Also, there's a parenthesis work which involves the first compilation of the Chilean Trance History made by Héctor Stuardo, called CHILE PSYTRANCE, which will be edited by the Greek magazine Freeze, compilating the most highlited artists of his country.
