Over-killing promotion.... (Attention party organizers)

This is tiring.... Really.
I have no clue how and why, but somehow a few party organizing groups got access to my details, some of those groups I know I never gave my details to.
Now, when one of those groups make a party I get all of the following:
1. about a million SMSs to my cellphone.
2. some letters with flyers to my snail mailbox
3. a few emails (two weeks before, a week before, 3 days before, 2 days before....)
4. a phone call (at least one...)
And all that for one party.
This is for all you party organizers who read this forum - this is harassing!!! It's as bad as spamming!!! (and it usualy makes me want to stay home since if you tell so many ppl about that party....)
Please -
a. choose one channel to contact ppl.
b. do not SHARE your lists, no matter what. I gave my details to you, not to all the party promoters in Tel Aviv area...
  Please REMOVE my cellphone number from any SMS spam list you may have. Thanks.

 This has happened to me today and I want to share it with you
I got a call from the USTA ppl, telling me that they are going over their lists and wanted to know if I want to stay on it or not. If I want to keep on getting SMSs and phone calls from them about their parties.
I was so happy to hear that, that someone has actualy removed me from the list upon my request (well, I hope so...  ). For sure I will still hear about USTA parties, I will know about them, but I will get one less SMS and one less phone call about it

hello people and hag sameach.
this massage might seem abit offtopic topic to some off u but i think that thi is the right place to place it.
its been some time since party orginizers started sending SMS massages to cell phones to publih theyr partys, and i can understand that people who are registerd in the lists of those production are happy that they gey this info to theyr cellphone, but there are people who never signedup for those list and get SMS's anyway. in the begining i didnt really mind altough i dont usualy go to these partys, but in the last couple of mounth this method of publishing the partys becae VERY annoying, since every SMS comes as 3 diffrent massages. at a given weekend i get 3 party's info that fill's my SMS box.
this week i think was the all time low with the TIP WORLD party. i have 18massages about this event, 9 of them i recived this morning.
so to all u commercial pary productions:
try to understand that i can see ur posetrs all over the city i see ur partys in isratrance furom a mounth before they happen
and im preety sure that soon it will be on the friday night news SO PLEASE STOP SPAMMING MY CELL SMS BOX.

Same shit... Overpromotion is antipromotion IMHO. I never get to these parties, just because this spam. It's principle...

I used to get party SMS, the way to get off the lists is easy, bug the promotors by SMS back... get an ICQ SMS Bomber.
It's dirty but it works

sms is good in one way , it gives you information about all parties in the weekend, plus you have it in your cell anywhere .
ofcourse spamming is BAD! I also got annoyed by the tip party ! two pages each msg x 4398 times a day! horrible .
I think party organizers should do new lists and not pass one to another , cause there are many people who dont listen to trance anymore nor go to parties and they get harrassed for yrs!
so to summer it up, sms is good but in proportion, send ONE time, make sure your lists are updated and that the phones that are there WANT to be there.

i was reading article about the kind of ppl that writing in the forums(i thought it will be difreant in the world of trance but i guss no) ,
about there psychological profile,
and i tell u it is the first time i see the newspaper is right for the first time,
u are so but so bored ?
oh my god mum they send me 18 massages wow. is it so hard for me to push the delete button ,wow so hard ?
and the talking are so stupid ,is it look to u logical that the organization share the sms ?stupid thought .
ppl grow up there is much other things in life then to blha blha about things like this .
say tank u to all this organization that try to do the best that u will have a place to party.
now I know why most of the world hate us,u are all whining all the time..about shit |

hey!
this topic is very important,not only for the party orgenizers,it's more important to the crowd,party pll.
i don't see what is bad in sms,
i agree that getting 10 sms on the same day it's to much,but ppl have to understend that this is one way to promote,like flayers,
if your flayers will be everywere it will be bad for your party,like if you send 10,000 sms for a 300 pll party.
the big problem is that it's true that there are some party orgenisers that pass lists to other and in this days i think it's allready too late!
we all on some list somewere!!!
the only thing that left is to perss the delete butten,to CHOSE the right party(we have enought!)and don't let small things like this to effect your plesure!
