indoor: people always want to punch me for stepping on their feet while freaking around 
outdoor: with all the oxygen in the air after a cloud break ... dancing every step of darkpsy++ is no problem.

the attar of a fart vanishes faster outdoors,
but both places are good to leave a big one, no one will hear it.. just outdoor is better, more airy

i would say outdoor makes every music sound better...
with minimal for example it has a large effect. all that smearing reflective sound is gone and you hear only the clean dry parts coming out of the speakers not off the wall... |

actualy i see your point. at first i also said that all parties must be outdoor. But techno
has it's magic indoor also it gives you a nice
dark technoish vibe.
Bottom line- outdoor beats indoor also for tech, you just cant beat the vibe of a beautiful view
blue sky and peaple digging as hell bear foot
on mud or just dust, grass, forest and so on....

Clearly, none of you wanks are from somewhere cold. Some of the comments read like the rantings of spoiled children.
We have two seasons, winter and road construction. Outside is possible for three months of the year. The rest of the time, we decorate our caves.

I actually have fun equally in both...The ability to decorate indoors and create a world inside the doors of some building that is in the middle of other anonymous buildings is a cool thing...
When decorated right, indoor is awesome....no doubt as long as it is not too hot or dusty...
outdoors are just amazing, but the dirt and even the sun in the morning can be irritating if it is too dusty..I always find I can't breathe right for a few days and end up coughing up a lot of dirt...Could wear a mask, but to hell with that.
SO, there is no favorite...They are both great and I like to have a little bit of both. |

and i talk australia or israel or californa , summer time!
when its 40+ 45+ degress and the party is rising to the top with the sun in the sky
damm i like AC but for party i want the sound of open air event and the nature vibes.
non the less i played in parties in russia when the night was -16 and it was OK for party

I've said this a bunch of times already, but for those of you complaining about smearing and reflection indoors, do what I do.
Put in earplugs
Stand 1m in front of the speaker
Then the sound from the speaker is so loud you can't possibly even hear the reflection off the walls, but you won't damage your ears because you're wearing earplugs. |
