outdoor vs indoor

I actually like indoor events. I wouldn't say more than outdoor ones, but I have been to some good ones here in Germany, like the top floor of an old communist factory in east berlin, and a bunker in east Germany. Both of those were really neat and the deco of the place was a big part of that.
Some advantages of indoor events:
1.) I don't get mad at people who throw their trash all over the outdoors.
2.) Toilets are better (if you get to them early enough).
3.) Lighting is usually better.
4.) Closer walk to the beer kiosk. (I can't be bothered to pack enough beer for a whole weekend, lol)
5.) Less danger of rain/sleet/snow hitting my precious music gear.
6.) Near the end of the aprty, you can get great fun at watching trancers be struck down by the sun when they go outside.
7.) People are grouped together better.
8.) Girls are more likely to be dressed like psy-fairy-hookers.
9.) If you're a promoter, its usually cheaper.
10.) The wind doesn't blow the spliff you're building across the dancefloor.
Outdoor parties are still better, but I'm just playing devil's advocate.

^eventually, the toilets are full of puke.. the whole club smells of this combination of sweat and smoke. the women are dressed better but look battered when the night is through.. apart from this, there are barely any smiles exchanged in a club scene.
to add to the misery, entry and alcohol is so much more expensive - and i hate that freaking tag that they punch on my wrist or hand or neck!
where as outdoor - the rain, snow and everything else (though it spoils your equipment) simply adds to the beauty of the party, everything that you saw in the night somehow transcends into something totally different.. the women, men and their smiling faces are like flowers in a garden. the backdrops, those hanging signs.. apart from this, the forest, mountain, beach and nature is irreplaceable since the music itself is about that imo.

Indoor kicks the shit outta outdoor when its pissing down outside, when there is a snow storm, when there is a sand storm, when its raining poisonous frogs, when its raining deadly cobras, when the drugs inside are free, when chuck norris is wondering around outside.

If you ask me as a party organizer: Indoors (cheaper to setup etc...)
If you ask me as a somebody attending a party: Outdoors (for the reasons mentioned above).

Outdoors always for me.
Any kind of music, and especially parties!!!
I can't stand clubs and I try to avoid them- bad sound, bad air, no space, no weather, no light.
Me no like at all!
PS.
And it's better to face Chuck Norris in open space...

Why is it that people are talking like indoor = club? Have you guys never been to a warehouse or loft party?
Indoor parties are great as long as
a) There are not too many people for the venue
b) There are enough bathrooms and the bathrooms are clean/well lit/stocked with supplies!
c) There is some kind of cool/quiet area (preferably an outdoor courtyard or patio) OR it is allowed to leave and re-enter |

Outdoor is always nice of course but indoor can be awesome if decor, sound and facilities are done right.
I've walked in to some indoor parties where it felt like I was entering another world. Lighting, sound, facilities were amazing. Better than some outdoor parties I've been to.
(whats up with the 'vs' shit anyway)
