Ott`s new album is on the way and its sounding great. He`s been a busy man. Hallucionogen in Dub. Tracks on New interchill compilation. New project with Simon Posford as Gargoyles. check "space baby" on Backroom beats 2 and "Talisman" with Interchill. Awesome. The album is less trippy than some might expect, but more summer time rub-a-dub-dub !!! enjoy........... |

yes it is, this is the ambient & chill out section. a very underused section unforutnately and if people can't post about new ambient music in this then what the hell is it about? in you haven't looked recently the Trance in the UK section is merely a list of upcoming parties in London. same thing, they should all be posted in the parties section....surely news about a new ambient album, from Humph, is of interest, it is to me anyway...

KaZ : Ott's new albOm should be mentionned in ALL the sections haha !.......... just kiddin'.
HumpH : Rub-a-Dub-Dub is exactly what I expected from him as the groOve on "SommerSettler" is so ....PRESENT !

you think "hallucinogen in dub" is better? hmm.. how many times have you listened this one through? takes some time to digest if you know what i mean? also interested in what's you favourite track.. on the album i mean? i find this a lot more diverse than "hallucinogen in dub".. and a lot more twisted.. oh well...

Yes, I think Hallucinogen In Dub is slightly better. It`s hard to say why, but in my opinion the Hallucinogen In Dub sounds more deeper and more "trippy" if you understand what I mean. On the other hand, I have a special feeling about those Hallucinogen melodies... I have listened pretty much to the Ott album the last days, and it is a great album:) In fact, Im listening to it right now with my girlfriend:) Have fun when he will perform in Finland soon! I would like to go... But at least I will get to see him perform at Samothraki Dance Festival this year.

I actually prefer Blumenkraft to Hullucinogen In Dub!
I'd say Blumenkraft is quite an immediate album. Lots of great tunes - although I've got a soft spot for "Escape from Tulse Hell" as it was on a mix cd I did about 18 months ago (for promo use only I hasten to add in case anyone from twisted/lsd is reading!!) |
