Traveller,
It's true there is a scene in Malta which me and another couple of friends named MANTRA are responsable for but Malta is listed in this forum

Does anyone know if South Korea has a psy scene yet? It seems strange that Tokyo has such a massive scene and Seoul not one at all. Especially when the Koreans often import trends etc. from Japan when they get popular there...Also what about Hong Kong,Taiwan or KL?

Last year Korean Psytrance took a big step towards popularization of Psytrance. there was one psytrance production - shevaka so far. but in 2005 two more production joined in this scene. almost every month, there were only psytrance parties, and psytrance dj's were included in line ups of many parties.

because of time, money, etc, not many psytrance fans visit japan and kophangan, tailand. moreover because psytrance scene is really small, we couldn't invite international djs but dj young (italy), full moon mondo (japan), etc... but that's okay.

people whose taste was changing like as from trance to progressive house, got interested in psychedelic... one of hot topics of electronic scene in 2005 was "why psytrance in 2005?" ... i expect this year will be much better and all psychedelic guys from the world root for korean psytrance scene.

thank you !

i will continue this story in detail soon or later ... (i am busy in working for a living T.T)

i have a guy in a class that is from Dubai. i guess Dubai gets all the big name Europian Dj's while they are touring around. he didnt seem to know if there was a psytrance scene (i assume that means there isnt one or it's small).
