Kolkata is in West Bengal and Dubai is in the Middle East ... I dont see where you could draw your conclusion from dude...
You cant expect internationals to come there straight off the boat. You need to set up some kind of local scene first, bring people together, form a self supporting comminity. One that happens, everything falls into place.
Thats actually whats happened in Cal. Ppl there have been promoting this movement for a while now. Neuromotor is a payoff after a lot of work.
Good luck tho ... Dubai would def be a killer joint. Out in the desert! Full on all the way. |

well it is a possibility..IF there will be enough crowd to make his gig worthwhile there..and u can never be sure of how big the crowd mite be until n unless u have smaller gigs to actually see how big ur crowd of psy lovers out there is....
so in my words its still along time away...
dont u think when the middle east is concerned things are stiffer at a different level all together...

Hahahaha nice one guys, but this is going to take some time. I already played in Dubai but it was private and I must say people are way over fashioned in this country. But it is worth to work on it as there is some beautiful location in the Emirates. So dont worry we are going to raise the middle east scene in a while, be patient.

well rumors are that there are psy parties on an island off the abu dhabi coast organised by shaikhs
i mean there kids who are also shaikhs and the parties are full on crazy but u gotta know them to be there and even if u get to be there and u r not a local shaikh then most probably the cid's will put u in after u come back from the party |

makin fred play in dubai is a gr8 idea....but wud there be enuf no. of ppl for this gig....well i have cousins studyin there in A.U.D...n n thru them i came to know...there r very few ppl listening to psy-trance..yes ud find ppl with the taste of techno n trance...but psy-trance is not so much popular...
well u can try doing a small gig in club there with a local dj playin psy...n try gathering as much as ppl u can..n get their responses..n then go for a big one like freddy....

dubai.......a rave station? far from it......
even if the shurtas can be taken care off mildly..........the muttawahs or the religious police wont think twice bout caning you.......
