nice event.

1.was the first guy,mike dee?

2.dj set evaluation

a)mike dee-6 (just listened half an hour of his set)
b)greg staikos-7
c)tsuyoshi-10(!!!!!)
d)allen-8,5
e)megas-7

a few more words for the duo.

-- tsuyoshi did one of the best sets i ever listened to.he started with juno reactor-guardian angel and continued with tracks i didn't know (only 4-5 that i knew) BUT the whole set was glorious and entrancing.major respect for him.full 303 madness!

-- mark allen mixed skillfully and had a more techish goa feeling (icluding tracks from the delta and x-dream) but he could play a bit better as far as music selection is concerned (for my taste).

3.the club was ok,nice deco but poor sound quality.
the ventilation was more than average.

4.please next time, tell the owner of the club, not to put on the lights in the last track and spoil the whole trancedance experience.if he wants to make it clear that the party is over,JUST tell the dj to stop the music.show some respect!

overall,a nice and pleasing event.

waiting for the next one!

Greetings fellow travelling friends
First, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the support and the fantastic atmosphere that you created!
We would also like to thank all the artists for the superb tunes that they offered us!!
A big thank you goes to Giorgo (PROGRA), VJ for the fantastic visuals he created and his amazing stamina (9 hours non-stop).
Finally we thank all our friends from other groups, who joined us and supported the party.
We would like to believe that YES, we succeeded in living one night from the past - your presence was the catalyst.
We saw many friends that we had not seen for many years.....
Everywhere we looked, we saw nothing but big smiles, colours and friendly vibes.
Have a good week and a great month fellow travellers.

With love & light

First of all, congrats to the Organic Dream guys for a wonderful event.

secondly, a request: we seriously need this to happen at least once a month. please consider it. there are many people still interested in goa trance (as your events have proven) and it would be a pity to do just one-offs.

thirdly, my review of the event:

Tsuyoshi is a great DJ, with a very cool flow and a nice selection of tracks, but i needed a bit more than just the well-known Prana stuff or Astral Projection. It was very cool to hear those tunes again in a club, but not enough.

Mark Allen's set blew me away. Last time @ Gagarin his set was so-and-so, but in this one he really had stuff up his sleeve. the fact alone that he started with "Ping" and ended with "Conga Fury" sums it up for me. he played really deep, along with some proto-prog tunes that i really liked, and i think that he made the perfect choices for the given time of the night. deep stuff. Very cool.

again, to the Organic Dream guys: more, please!

Yes, but from what I've seen and heard attendance was not as great as it should have been. So, if you don't have the support of old ravers being snob and new ravers not wanting to know how can we expect from teams to organise such (nice to me) events time and again? Maybe my informing is wrong, which I doubt, for one though I wish the certain team and also others have the strength to keep organising such events. No offence meant to anyone except the ones who don't support nice events for the wrong reasons (e.g. not being friends with the organiser or not being at the guest list even though they have the money to pay the entrance fee).

Andonis, i can't be sure about tickets and guestlists and such, but for a music that hasn't had an active scene in more than 10 years, i think the attendance was satisfying.

i've no idea if Organic Dream broke even, you're right about the financial issue.

still, i can imagine that with the right planning and with a steady core of goa fans (must be around 300 people, give or take) it should be alright.

on the other hand i've no idea about party promoting, so i could be wrong...

i agree that once every 2 months, would be nice.

of course the party should be fully old-school like the one here in this topic.

i believe that next ones will be more massive, since it will get more known and popular.

get some old school djs and producers and everything will roll fine.

keep the spirit alive!
