OK enough about that people...we'd like to thank the crew for agreeing to help Julien out in his situation which is very nice of them, theyve been busy for a while and now are able to do that for him, and if this happens he will be able to get a move on fixing it all up so that he can start getting gigs again!
everything will work out fine in the end and everyone will be happy:) |

hey everybody!
and sorry for not coming...
i had sirius problems with getting the neccery vizas on time,due too a strike in israel..(i got it now)
elnadiv did book me ,and i allready had the flight tickets,whice i had too refund later ,and send him his money back... i should have post it here... but i wasnnt sure if ill get the viza till the last minute...
...however...

Hello everyone!! i`d like to add something to these conversation, as i see there is some kind of stress, i`m speaking only for me, and what happened to me.
The reason i didn't made it to this great event, its due to a new immigration law that came out few months ago and i didn't knew about it, the airlines did not notice us about it and it consists basically in this:
"If your Mexican passport its less than 6 months to expire you cannot get in to the plane" As they do in Europe and some other countries but not in Mexico until now, mine was 3 months before to expire so when i got into the airport they send me back , i was really pissed of because everything was on line, mi US visa expire until 2010.
But there is always something good hiding behind things like this, the flying ticket its open for one year so i spoke to Elnadiv and we are still going to do it, actually very soon.
I also want to apologize in public for missing this one, i know its my responsabillity to check mi papers, so i did but i was not aware of all the new laws that are coming out in the US,and we are not told in Mexico, i also want to thank Elnadiv and the Alladin Group for the professionalism they perform with me, they bought the tickets on time , the hotel room , sent me the itinerary on time etc...
I already got my new Mexican passport so as i said i will be performing soon up in New York so be ready, the album its coming out and its something really worth to listen to , its more than a year of hard work , im really looking forward to play for the US people see you all in the dancefloor!!

thanks to the djs for writing in why they didn't make it. usually djs are pretty silent but i appreciate their effort here. no i am not the organizers, but i support them. :] and, (ot) did you know that marijuana has been decriminalized in NY state since 1977? for 1 oz. or less, the amt. decriminalized, the worst is a civil fine. it's been in the media lately .. if they seek more than a fine for an ounce or less please quote the law at them and be ready to take it to court. we need better government, so definitely stick up for trance by remembering to register to vote in early October and by making sure you have 'one person, one vote'. Uphold our Constitutional rights of petition and assembly so that we can continue to have awesome parties like the Orb Festival. End the Iraq War! peace. |

Hi to all free spirit party people,
We apologize for the late respond as we are recovered from this year festival gathering, which turned out to be incredible. The weather was sunny (except the last day) the earth was smiling, people were happy the energy of harmony and freedom was blasting from every corner. For us the organizers it felt good to see many little details connecting to great looking picture: good vibes, freedom, nature and music.
We would like to thank all of you beautiful people that came to ORB Festival 08 and helped to make it happen, thanks for supporting the outdoor trance scene in USA, we believe this festival will grow bigger from year to year, because it’s made with love and appreciation to the music and the culture.
Thanks to all the people that took part in the production; artists, performers, volunteers, workers, vendors, medics, security, the promotion crews that helped spreading the word and the people that helped made it all possible from the bottom to the top working till the last power with great energy, to transform a vision in to reality. It could not happen without you guys, it shaped to be a divine gathering with an amazing psychedelic experience.
Unfortunately some small problems occurred which were out of our control and so we would like to address them;
Few of the artists that were announced did not make it, each one for different reasons. It was never false advertisement; all the plane tickets were bought. In a big festival with massive booking, line-up is subject to change, some unpredictability may occur. Sometimes it is a visa problem and sometimes personal issues, all artists were booked but some unfortunately couldn’t make it and we were disappointed as some of you were. But thank God we were able to add more headliners on time and fill up the missing parts to complete the musical journey.
Unfortunately as we read some people did not have the best experience and we apologize for it, we will make sure to learn from our mistakes, to provide you with better experience.
Things that we have the power to change will be changed in 09 gathering, and things that are beyond our control we deal with by accepting with love, and trying to grow and learn from.
This was the second annual gathering, and each year we are getting more and more experienced, we learn from mistakes and discovering what to improve, so God wiling next one will be better than ever with the support from all of you.
See you all next year!!!

Wow! it took alladin only ummmmmmm 4months to reply...?? thanks for having concern for your patrons we look forward to your newly advertised parties at Exit! a coincidence you post an apology to the Echo Lake thread the same time you post the listing for upcoming parties? |

well... better late then never...
Ive been to 2 great parties last month- the production team called yogi-bogey-box and they run it in beautiful way! btw- tickets for $20 !!!
on the 15th theyll bring Penta (after gataka, koxbox and occelot) so now there a real trance scene in NY and its just the right way!!! |
