totally agree about organization. please please make a chill out stage and a main stage next time and everyone would be so much more happy. and also please make the programs more specific - i.e. having a map would be very helpful for a lot of people. And figuring out the way to let people unload their stuff would be nice - maybe writing down license numbers as they enter to make sure they come back - the way it is done at GM? not saying anything about the music but some more psychedelic would not hurt ;-)
anyway I was glad to see new faces there so I guess promotion is organizers' best skill. Having yoga and drum circle and food and vendors was good too.
thanks everyone for keeping it going

The insanely loooooong drive took its toll on me, but in the end was eventually worth it for a first time festival in North America.
Didnt end up stomping a whole lot but heard the music from my tent(Knob and Mubali did some very serious damage). Complaints above may be valid but I was amazed somthing of this magnitude could be pulled off.
Did anyone else pay $35 parking ?
Summing it up, I guess when there's a dearth of events I'll take whatever i get without too much hoo-hulla (even unfriendly security )
Boom to everyone !

Lol, you must be one of them who jolted me from my sleep to ask if the car parked near my tent was mine (It didnt have that goddamn parking permit and it wasnt my car).
I dont want to dance with the security, just leave me alone

Is it just me or anyone else had to read your message 5 times to get the full point? For next time, please use punctuation when writing a message (if you want people to get you, that is) .

Great festival and amazing lineup. I felt like a psytrance glutton, just one great act after another. Sure there were a few glitches and a few missed acts, but I think the Alladin crew did a good job in improvising with the situation. I enjoyed many or the changes and improvements over last year as well. Only would have appreciated some music playing on Thurs night. Thought the electro in the chill was a nice touch, but to be honest I didn't leave the main stage too much. Great vibes and great weather I only wish I didn't have to leave all you beautiful souls behind. |

I cant agree with u all enough about the crzy line-up schedule . We drove in and the first thing we reached for was the line-up schedule and the timings were a mess! I had a feeling it wasn’t the last.
Alongside with the hype of some UN-ATTENDED artists, the sound system was having spasms it seemed and really messed up the dance flow, totally uncalled for while djs were rockin their set.
Needless to say the confusion i went through while both stages were playing their main sets AT THE SAME TIME, what was that about
Despite the inadequacy of it all, I guess I can speak on behalf of everyone to say that Echo Lake itself was heaven, so was the deco, the chill stage was amazing, and I dark proceeding to major full-on in the morning!!!
Seen a lot of familiar faces, thank u for all ur beautiful smiles and shaking the ground with me on the dance floor.
Saturday night was breathtaking, while Brandon, and wichdokta following other artists killed my feet while the starry night and graceful winds flew through my body!
Protoculture, shulman, mubali, zion, wizack twizack, dr.spook, onnomon, ctrl+alt+del, babla, lauryn, and the rest, u guys were totally on point with ur sets, u rocked it!
The music, the mystic mornings, soft rain, and the complete setting truly made a memorable experience and I wished I nvr had to leave. When on the dance floor I forget all about taking pictures so lets get some pics and vids posted!
Welcome to my world where the grass is purple and the sky is pink, Strawberries are blue with white polka dots, And aliens are the BEST Dance partners.

This was my first Orb Festival and even though their shit wasn't organized properly, I still had an amazing time! I meet many new people and bumped into others that were just old and boring- just kidding. Highlights: Shulman, Tony Unorthodox, Devient species, Mubali, Etnica, Atomic Pulse, Karmakanik, Wichdokta, Rafeal, Zion, Hux Flux, and Wizack Twizack. I must of dance for 20hrs, drove 7hrs round tryp, and sleep nearly 3hrs. I loved the scenery and freaks of the unnature. I put my heart and soul down oi=nto the dance floor and just connected to the frequency of the DJ and let my body ripple thru the cosmos....
I Love you all!!!

PS who played after Zion? I really enjoy his energy and spunk. I was so in tuned to his beats. I felt the waves of sound all through me!
all you psyfreaks are beautiful.
Now to prepare for Eclipse!!!

The festival was great!
I had fun, a lot of fun!
I do agree that some things did not go quite as planed and I am sure the organization did everything they could to make the festival keep going. Things are never perfect and there is nothing wrong with that! I really apreciate the fact that some people are working really hard to make this event happen.
I believe that it can only get better every time.
I think The lineup got messed up because some artists could not make it to the party. Simple as that! well, shit happens!
People tend to think in a negative way when something goes wrong but the truth is that nobody know the real reason and the source of the problems.
I saw a lot of happy people there and thats what counts.
Ken, Luis, ctrl+alt+del, rocked on sat afternoon. I got sunburn cause I could not stop dancing!
Wizack twizack, Wichdokta and Etnica were awesome.
Amazing deco and great weather!
Thanks to Alladin Group for the party.

thank u everyone for putting up pics and videos...wowow
i was too busy dancing to take any
ps: I dont think were thinking in a -ve way when things go wrong but alladin always brings amazing acts/ throws some awesome parties for us and thus the expectations from this crew are huge so its just feedback for them. i think as orgz they will appreciate the good, the bad, the ugly and next year will be more insane!
again they put in a lot of hardwork this year (its def. NOT an easy task)and the feedback from '07 helped make orb '08 what it is.
just got back to work.arghhhhhhhhhhhhh
someone take me back to echo lake!! puhleeeeeeese "END THE OCCUPATION!"

My body is still recovering. wow! I believed on Sat/Sun I danced for well over 12 hours straight. The music was simply amazing but I unfortunately missed some DJ sets being that two main acts were on at the same time, no good . The vibes were so nice and I got to make a basket full of new friends and my heart was uplifted seeing all the happy faces bouncing around the dance floor and the insanity unfolding sunday morning. (i.e.-haircut in the middle of dancefloor-LOL!) All of the DJs that played did a GREAT job-Rafael, Onnomon, Mubali, Witchdokta, Knobi and his lady, Brandon, Phatmatix-OMFG!, Hux Flux-I always enjoy watching him work-too funny!, Deviant species-I'm glad he finally played, Brandon, Yoni and anyone else I'm forgetting.
Thank you Alladin crew for your hard work but the organization needs a large improvement. Sound, trash, line-ups, following through on promises, etc but lemme not pick, your work is well appreciated. Must rest of Eclipse now
IF ANYONE "ACCIDENTALLY FOUND" A CAMERA AT THE PANGEA STAGE ON FRIDAY MORNING, PLEASE FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO RETURN IT, WILL GIVE $$$ REWARD!!! PLEASE, I WILL RECOGNIZE IT IF I SEE IT AGAIN...SO PM ME.
