Psychoactive Party.
Reached Fbar by 12, saw Goa Gil baba was already spinning. Dint waste any time went straight to the dance floor for about 3 hours.
What energy/vibes.... the small percentage of bollywood crowd was not being able to decipher what is happening.I remember one of the guys who was a regular at fbar asking the manager to put on some remixes or house lol. But once drunk enough even they joined the balagaan trying to match the freaks energy.
Goa Gil what can i say. What vibes/energy this guy gives out. Dancing full power was Arianne also on the floor. Goa Gil doing his trademark swaying dance step on the console. Seeing a baba in psychedelic clothes spinning intense dark is really something else.
At 4am the real mayhem started all bollywood crowd had left, only freaks trancing to full power dark what a psychedelic circus on the floor amazing......What a set baba played mostly mind music taking everybody deep into their inner thoughts and every now n then bringing it back to the dance floor with groovier basslines. Perfect combo !!
Great Party.... nice vibes on the floor, full power crowd and water was free  . Almost all the full power freaks stayed till 5:30. They shut off the music at 5 but peoples request/begging made it go on till 5 30 am.

Hey thats nice to hear. Was at the last Gil party in Delhi which was a massive disappointment... high entry no water, no drink as promised, canned in a couple of hours.
Guess a full blown one was bound to happen. Who organised this time around? Video's anyone ? |

@Yidam: The entry was same this time too. Last time we had another one with Baba which was full blown at Headquarters.
This was organised by F Bar & Party Animals.
After a long wait of 1 year had a chance yet again to witness The Gil Ritual, so had to be there. F Bar is not a cool place for this kinda gig but cant complain. Entered around 11:30ish & straight on the floor, no time to waste. Eight Finder Eddie was there to motivate the dancer, i mean such an old man can stand and dance on the floor for hours, made me even more energetic.
Baba was playing on CDs and not DATs, saw this for the 1st time. As always it was a special experience, the music he played was phenomenal, mind boggling, as always new music. Sound was low, dont know why?
Crowd was a mix, met so many old & new freaks. Had a blast while on the floor & around the place. Baba looked happy & smiling as always, so much of positive radiance & energy.
Thank to the orgs, will be waiting for this again next year.

Ive been digging this album, will look up names and post some of the best tracks.

Ive read lot of threads about people complaining about Gil Baba's mixing skills.
Atleast when he played on cd's the mixing was fine. I recall not hearing a lot of fancy beat matching of different bass lines.But the track selection was pretty much perfect. Harmonically each song he mixed in gelled very well with the other track playing.I loved the music cant really complain about the mixing.
Next aim of life catching a Goa Gil outdoor full power 24 hour party.
