Open Source 2008 - Update
The party IS NOT canceled. We have had some problems with the landlord,
but we have a contract and will proceed with the party.
At least the party will go from FRIDAY to SATURDAY 12 o'clock midday.
New updated linup and info follows, but the PARTY IS ON.

The party is still on and a new lineup is ready.
Due to unfortunate reasons we have to close the party at 12'o clock on Saturday and be out and cleaned up by 15:00.
We are deeply sorry about this
It is very poor Cell phone connection if connection at all up there at the venue, so if you need to make a phonecall you should do it at "Kirkenaer".

A big thank you + warm thoughts to everybody that participated on the party!
Everything went perfect, the cops got nothing to claim on us. The media is with us, and the people we rented from (Grue Komune, with: Kristen Madshus) were happy and had nothing to claim from the arrangement. Even the cops were happy, exept this one local that made all the trouble for all of us, including all his colleges from the neighbor department. They seemed rather embarrassed of what this local cop had pulled them into. 10 kilometers into the forest. Miles from were they were actually needed.
Never the less he forced Kristen Madshus to break the agreement, and end the party saturday. Nothing that he told Madshus was true. Though they made him afraid, and he decided friday to let them shut it down saturday. We werent alloved to talk with Madshus alone on friday during the meetings they arranged. So they manipulated him to think this was a huge event (2-3000 people), and that we had fooled him! Funny though, everything went as we agreed upon in the contract, even the exact amount of people we expected came. (less then 200)
We are going to look into it with our lawyer, as we lost a lot of money for no reason but stupidity.

Thank you all for coming and creating that special vibe we had saturday night and morning in the beautiful surroundings of finnskogen The Location was stunning and the crowd was aswell.........
Due to local law enforcements we had to cut the event short and leave the place on saturday afternoon. Read Kims post above for deeper explenation...! Once again we are very sorry about this !
A big thanks goes out to all the artists for coming and in general having a good time all the time
We are very sad for those that didn't get the chanse to play at Open Source this year... Buttt....there will definately be a next time 
A super special thanks to Kim for all the hard work with the Bluesuits, staying cool and claiming our rights in this highly stressed out situation.Heia Kim Heia Kim !!

Despite the purks and the one dark haired rasshole who was a toff motta fokka. This party was amazing! So many beautiful smiles, so much harmony and such amazing nature with the most bizarre echo (down by the tent place) I have evergh heard. It was amazing tripping out and listening to all the trolls and gnomes ghaving their own party out in da woods. To bad we couldn't keep it going another night, but one was much better then non, and I have a great experi3ence from this event. All the beautiful people, thank you for your vibes.
