One vst?

Ok so I'm heavily invested in hardware (sub Phatty, x0xb0x, minibrute, roland tr-8 & saving for a prophet 12 as my poly).
I think I need one good vst though as I'll want to make tunes while travelling a lot later this year & taking any of my gear other than Ableton Push is a no go.
So with a limit of $500 what would be your number one choice? I'm currently thinly Omnisphere but If there's something good that's cheaper that'd be great. Currently stuck making older psy techno like Midi Miliz/Spirilianz but also make a bit of sci-fi dark stuff as well like Sandman & early Tim Schuldt (yes with guitar).

I would buy ni komplete. many synths, including absynth. many libraries. guitar rig.
and if I had that already, plus any other "go to" synth plugin , I would pick omnisphere. |

Can you retrigger the LFO? when i demoed it, it was not possible.
Major bummer...
