Ok...here we go....
Not really my cup-a-tea...but anyway..here we go...
Scary shit....U have to do some more variation for this kinda style...specialy the percussion bit.....
Make the fx more flying...what i mean 2 say is....it all sounds very -mono-...like all sounds coming from the middle...and the balance between all sounds is a bit odd...make soundfx fly at you !!!
Bass could have more lo & volume compared 2 kik...or maybe better...lower the kick & beef up some lo-freqs in the bass...depends how much "headroom" there's left...all in all....sounds a bit chilly...make sound more warm & fat...
Good luck....

hey psyx..
firstly thankx for ur review,
1.at least u found it scary
2.u want me to lower the bassline vol compared to the kick??or make the kik vol be lowered, and add more bass into the bassline,?ok,will try,
3.how do i make the sound fx-fly?pls telme cause i aint that good at it,if u have any way pls let me know,
4.how do i make it sound more warm and fat?
5.sound balancing,:-i aint good at mastering,is that wat ur talking of?or somethin else?

the only reason im doin this is because i seriously have no clue as to wat to do to make it sound the way u want it to,percussion wise, yes ive used one sample and made a trac of it,i add too much into it,the trac sounds bad, tried it,but then will try wat u said, only if i know how to do it,if u can telme pls do so,
i love this trac.so pls help me build it up better.
really appreciate ur help, and review, hopin to hear from u soon,

As for the flying thing...try some panning and add a delay...(stereo delay)....also the fx could be louder in the mix...use more fx...but carefully...don't overdo it !!!
For the percussion...U don't have 2 play them simultaniously...you can also play them seperate...first 1...& then the other...
for the balancing thing...i think some sounds r too much in the background...making them louder will push them forward...try listening at different volumes....
When u listen 2 it at low volume...everything should be there ....at low-volume it's better to determine that...
As for the warmth...i think maybe you coud add some "warm" sounding pad or something...in general the sounds u use are very tiny & harsh...

Good luck...

-----------------------------
thankx phyx for ur help, will try out pannin some sounds and puttin delays as u said,,the low sound concept is true, but u think all "sounds" will sound properly on a higher level?wont it get distorted?presdence is felt, but then shouldnt get distorted, rite?any solution?
-------------------------------
and hey superglue,,thankx alot dude, will def work more on the trac...u think it has some potential??thing is it sounds good here.,but has to sound good everywhere,,
so,,fine ,psy95 kick, hehe, dude,i'll change ....thought for a change a kick like this in a new trac would sound coool,
as for the rest of the kiddish part..ye will take time to be mature for sure
will work on it as u guyz mentioned and upload agaiin,,thankx again for all ur help,,

--------------------------------
view point is always different of different people, thats why i put up my tracs for review on this forum superglue, and,ye i do consider music as an art,and not that i wanna gain somethin out of,
truely speakin,i just want appreciation and respect.i listened to the trac again and again, but still,i find myself confused as to how why people consider it to be so dark?anyways,,as i said be4,not all have same mentality.dude, and the synths part which u said could be used by chemical brothers!!??damn, i dont agree.hehe.theyr way bbetter off without em

cheers and thankx again,

OK, first, allow me to give my two cents - DO NOT MAKE YOUR MUSIC ACCORDING TO WHAT PEOPLE WANT TO HEAR. You will end up making music that sounds like either Astrix, Azax Syndrome or Son Kite. Keep doing your own thing, have some fun while you're at it too

Now - your track has a lot of problems with it's mixdown. The end result of a track is to have a maximum volume at 0db (even though clipping by 1db is ok if it happens rarely), check out http://www.dnbscene.com/articles.php?mode=display&id=79 for tips on how to EQ your elements in a way that they 'fit' into the roles you give them (hint: have sub only on your kick and bassline, the more elements have it the less punch your lows have and the higher the volume of the final mixdown will be)... follow these guidelines and your track will sound a LOT better.

As for the track itself: as mentioned before, you could use a lot more stereo in the elements. Perhaps adding a noise gate to hihats would give a more focused groove to the track... The structure itself is very linear-monotone-droning, something that does not work really well with full-on - if you keep the energy level high at all times it will not give you the punch of the 'coming out of nowhere' elements that will give you a lot more energy. The track feels like it doesn't really have a point - there is no real sense of 'evolution' to the track. More in depth passages and not keeping the kick running non-stop throughout the track will give it a better defined feeling and will accent the parts you want to be in the center much better.

Hope I gave you some food for thought here.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222
