When people mention all time legends of psytrance I hardly ever hear this name mentioned.....unbelievable. I believe Olli Wisdoms contribution to the growth of psytrance is second to none. I have seen this guy dozens of times on 3 different continents (over the space of 12 years!) and he has never failed to fry my brain. I have met him several times and he is as a true a psy-soul as you can get.
He has always carried psy in his heart and continues to do so. When people talk about the evolution it is always GMS basslines spawned full-on...what about Space Tribe?? dont forget his contribution...always still GOA vibe in there..for me at least...imho one of the most influential figures in this scene ever. Maximum respect..
This guy can rock any crowd...50 people or 50000, bush doof or festival.
Cheesy full on? Noooooo! lear2hear 
And no i didnt use the search-I am sure there is at least one other one but I think its time for another |

For sure !
Oli Wisdom is a real pioneer in the psytrance scene.
He used to blow me away back in 99/00 and on the boom 04 he rock the dancefloor...
i dont like this kind of style anymore, but mr. space tribe is definitely one of the artist's that i can say i grow on his tunes.
and yea, u only need to look on him in a party and u start smiling and understsnd that this guy is a real psy-soul and how he transfer energy to the crowed.
Hope that Oli will continue to produce for more many years to come.

oli, is a true Shaman. I had booked him for my party. He played a four hour set, it was a majestic set, with his music he was feeding all the energy and people were flying. He has his bookings posted on his website, he is playing all over the globe. Big respect.

I have a super soft spot for old Oli....back in the eighties i was a big fan of his goth/glam band Specimen..you know, being goth/glam and all...

I have the exact feeling there. I used to be a big fan of Oli's music till "Time Stretch" LP. After that, the magic was gone the day he decided to be assimilated to the tendances of the psy scene and the same thing with Boris Blenn...
I have the worse difficulties to distinguish now his style and electric universe's one and I was not surprised to see they made some duo albums at the end...
But the guys were very talented, they brought a lot to the scene, no discussion for it. So respect! |
