Hello all ,
i am an old school goa fan and also a nitzhonot freak ( more of the Israeli not so much greek ).....
From my observations over the past few years i have seen the Old school goa vibe slowly being replaced by all other forms of psytrance....more so by dark and fullon ( fullon seems to be the new morning music) which seems to be the dominant form of psy nowadays.....Even in Goa u cannot get to hear this type of music anymore...
The Old school goa + nitzho flame is being upheld by just a few ..namely Suntrip recs ,Eutechia records and metapsychic recs (sadly this one is no more)....and a few torchbearers like Filteria ,lost buddha ,Afgin etc....
Even in my country INDIA the orgs do not encourage or bring in oldschool goa artists/djs to play cause they feel there isnt a market for them.....
What i would like to do is create a information Database here on Isratrance of ONLY oldschool Goa + Nitzho artists CUM Djs / purely Djs who ARE STILL PLAYING...
this IMO will help create awareness abt the scene among the psy public and organizers worldwide and will also serve as some publicity for all you purely Goa Djs......maybe url guys can give some contact Id as well....
PLS NOTE : pls post only Info of old school Goa / Nitzho artists who also Dj ( not just produce) AND / OR Djs who purely play oldschool / nitzho...
Just my little bit to keep the scene alive....hope url all oblige....

Dj's: Well, we have a lot of old school dj's (and parties) in Belgium... almost every 2-3 weeks we have a party with ONLY old/new school goa trance We have like 20 djs; Including myself of course (Anoebis), in my set I always mix old school tracks of old rare cds with new tracks that will be released later on on Suntrip And that works amazing... Anyway, here is a list:

@ Suntrip.......thanks for replying ....i thought this article was gonna get 0 replies and all my work in starting a topic would go to waste.. !!
I am actually doin this not for my benefit ...... ive NEVER heard any oldschool goa(or nitzho) artist / DJ playing.....just hearing their tracks......so i felt that i need to do something for the promotion of the old school scene and all those associated with it....
This coupled with my frustration with the psycrowd not knowing shit abt where the rootsof psychedelic trance actually lies.....its like evry on i meet is only into dark and morning.....they know nothing of the old school goa scene....and i cannot get myself to understand why !!
All the psychdelia , energy that u need is in oldschool and nithzo as well (this is not to say that i hate fullon and dark...au contarire...i love em just as much maybe....just pissed that these forms have almost totally eclipsed the old school music )
So my aim with this topic was to let Users and the artists or Djs who are still active themselves post their info ..... This will help those artists who dj or solely Djs who are still upcoming to promote themselves on Isra....
This will not only encourage them to continue spinning / producing such music but will spread knowledge that such a scene exists and is still thriving...once this happens awareness will spread more and more newbies will think abt producing such music instead of using their fruity loops to make some 16373769 + BPM shit ..
also organizers will realize that calling down such genre artists will attract crowds and will be financially viable...
the scene maybe alive in Belgium but sadly i dont think such is the case in other countries ....
So let this Topic serve as a ready reckoner for anyone interested in booking or knowing abt such acts.....
Even if one Org who has never brought down any old school /Nitzho acts anywhere gets influenced / encouraged by this thread and takes a decision to call one of the artists/djs mentioned here..........ill consider my work done !!

A little help and support from all u isra users out there who have info abt such Dj acts..or if the artists could post some info abt their actss....would be nice....
PS : heard some merr0w tracks....simply kickass.....
and btw ive heard this promo 'Goa terminal' by this artist Liquid flow....crazy tunes as well... any info on this guy?
