Hello 2 all of u TM people!
I Have this little dissapointment of what i hear This last days
And i want to share it with you, mabe i'll find some new answers...
During the last year,  u have all probably noticed the direction
That israeli Trance is going to... i want to say that in my opinion, If the trancers will try abit more they could reach a big revolution, u see, In 96-99 i heard some tracks, new Cd's,
And i felt the harmony in it... I know that this is "Old,  School-Goa..." But these tunes
Can get u really high sometimes, I just wanted to say that in
These Dats' Tracks I cannot find the perfection...
I don't know how to say it, But i don't except ppl to go back
To Old sounds, I am really acceptive of the change in the trance sound
But i would really like to hear some Twisted SFX, Uplifting Melodies, Progressive RaveTunes ALOTHOUGH that the direction is minimal!
And i don't find these stuff alot on the market today...
Well, What do you think? What Do you recommend me to try?
Any new Artists with Similar Description that i gave here?
10x Alot
BBOOMM
P.s Plexus CD has a good KIVUN!

I think that some of Brainbubble's material should do the trick, maybe also Lish - Under Wicked Sky RMX and Cosma's album

Cheers

Minimalism will go out of style someday, maybe it'll tkae 5 or 6 years... most minimalism like Noma is just a symbol of rotten and decaying goa/psy.

I may not be a specialist in trance, but I am in techno.
Plastikman is pure techno... Nothing to do with trance.
What you're saying is that today there's little difference between techno and trance, which I disagree. There are very few artists that I can say have almost no difference in their music between  these 2 styles (Like Son Kite for ex). But Plastikman is definitely techno.

plastikman is canadian/british dude richie hawtin... and hes worked under loads of names, and under each he produces quite different and vbaried music, but plastikman is his most famous, although he wasnt supposed to be releasing any more stuff under this name anymore...
more to the point, going on what you said in your first post, his stuff under plastikman is unlikely to be your cup of tea.. fairly downbeat, repetitive, minimal stuff, quite pleasant (i think), but not really what your after i dont think....

Seems that more people feel the same way in that the direction of music these days doesn't do shit for the average punter on the dancefloor!! Read the discussion entitled 'Minimal Trance, Falling Asleep Trance?' on about page3/4 of the Trance forum for some more views on this. Hopefully producers of music will see this and address this before our once unique trance scene withers away to be enjoyed by people who only care about what they look like to other people when they dance. Cos that's what's happening here.

Hey... I am not attempting to waste my midlife on making
A revolution in trance... ;-)
I only ask you what direction to go when i look for music
That rocks your head without thinking "What is that sound?
Why is this Track So annoying?!?!"
U understand?
p.s
Cosma Is INcredible
